Oh - sorry I misunderstood.

Yes, G&G only sell uppers seperately.

Here's my latest project with my G3SAS - I FINALLY managed to finish modifying the chamber block so I can put Mc51 and G3 cocking tubes on.

I hope to end up being able to switch between the three quite quickly.

Edit: Ridiculously large image removed. Resize it please. Pablo

That grip is acually my Mc51 grip - I was testing whether the SG1 grip would fit over the modded chamber block - it seems it will.

Now I just need:

- G3 SG1 Handgrip

- G3 Bipod

- G3 Sling hook

- G3 Grip pin

- Inner Barrel

- Matte black spray paint

- Mc51 Outer barrel

- And the inner barrel to match

- CA ELCAN + CA KillFlash

- G3 highmount

Then it'll be sex on a stick.

How different is the CA33's stock from an MP5's solid stock, other than length? Could an MP5's sliding stock be modified to make an HK53? or is just too different?

Just curious - I think it could make a fun project.

why are you converting a G3 SAS in to an SG1 ANYWAY?

Few things:

1) It's a G3SG1C.

2) I got $400 worth of spare G3 parts for $9.

3) I wanted a long range AEG as I only have CQB ones.

4) Rushing EVERY time you play gets painful very quickly when I'm 6 foot 4.

5) I don't have money for a new AEG.

6) I had a HK51 OB lying around.

7) I can switch from G3SAS to G3SG1C in less than 5 minutes.

8) 534mm tightbore.

She now has a 535mm tighbore in her - shoots hard, accurate and fast.

All I need to do now is get a scope.

She does wobble a bit - the cocking tube is a bog standard TM g3 one and is flexy. The joint is solid as concrete but the actual tube bends...*albartroth*.

ELEMENT spring in it now - shoots well over forum limits.

Some of the print on the can's bottom came off on the bb - I thought it most amusing.
