msx361
Where is that from. Also how does the guy in mc aim with his gun while his got his goggles on
uscmCorps
Where is that from. Also how does the guy in mc aim with his gun while his got his goggles on <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He aims using the Gun Cam.
KingJ
Then why the aimpoint?
uscmCorps
Good point. Maybe the built in HUD in the Oakleys is setup with a mini-camera on the outside of it so that when viewing through the HUD, it actually appears transparent with a display overlayed on top of it. I can't imagine any soldier willingly allowing themselves to loose that much peripheral vision otherwise.
Lithium Jack
Just a silly suggestion, but maybe it's there so he's still got a reliable optic in case the gun cam/monocle fails... then he can just take off the eyepiece and he's good to go? edit: speeling Edited August 27, 2007 by Lithium Jack
Fellowz
got it from http://www.af.mil/news/story_media.asp?id=123030453 maybe the eyepiece can be moved so he can have a full field of sight. or maybe he puts his goggles on his helmet when he is not using the interface. msx361
Why not just put it on the side like the guy in woodland. Never mind. Did anyone go to GZ and get some good mc action photos?
