Y'know what dude, that looks pretty damn cool. Apart from the fuzzy last photo :P Not bad job on the sanded slide, but I'm guessing you'll need some oil on that to prevent it rusting without the paint..

Incidentally, the best (if slightly OTT) stuff to use to keep sanded metal from rusting is stuff like Paul Chen's sword maintenance oil, thinks its like £10 in the UK from -w.blades-uk.com

Updated aimpoint, mount, laser, flashidder and BUIS

Excellent choice on the aimpoint mount. It looked badass on my old M15 CQB. Maybe I should get one for my new G&P CQBR when it arrives... :P

Very nice Dave...for some reason I imagined it facing the other way. It's gonna look hot on the CQBR.

lol. I thought the same thing until I saw it mounted on a shottie (basically the only mounted pic I could find on the net). I did some Paint (as opposed to photoshop :P) with it and it looked pretty good on the EBR so I took the plunge.

And yeah, I can't wait for the CQBR. With the flipup sights, the low profile should go well with it. I'm tempted to purchase a Rico Alpha taclight to go with it. :P
