FallenGuard
Any plans about adding Vegetato to your Product line? While I wouldn't be interested in Clothing (Begadi Cut just doesn't fit me, would need S-L), Equipment would be nice. AFAIK there is little to no MOLLE Pouches available in that Camo... pjones
I try my best, at least I can compare, because I own a original one, made in Botswana Can you provide more info on the parabat? Honestly I prefere to try a Njemoeller Rig. Spacemonkey has pictures of his para rig in the Rhodie/SADF thread here. There are also pictures of Niemoller rigs and the SWATF vest. Grimm
Hi guys, I have been busy and absent a while, caused my newest "purchase" (weighing 5,500g and causing a felt 1000db noise if hungry) occupied me a lot, but wanted to drop in and show what we have done so far. Most prominently we started the recreation of a legend: The israeli EPHOD A10! You can read about it in MapleLeafs excellent blog: http://strikehold.wordpress.com/2009/08/19...try-combat-rig/ Maple Leaf also put some real good reviews of our stuff for - BE-X Tyr Assault Vest - BE-X Tyr Chestrig - BE-X Lightweight Vest - BE-X Combat Suit - BE-X Smock, Gen2 See http://strikehold.wordpress.com/?s=BE-X Also we started a Blog http://combat-gear.blogspot.com/ (its german though) and a youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/combatgearblog (also german, but maybe you like it though) I will, from now on, post more again, and would be more than happy to hear your feedback! -Angel-
Is there a model of Ephod with a backpack on it? on the upper back area where the blanket is secured in the picture on strikehold. Grimm
Is there a model of Ephod with a backpack on it? on the upper back area where the blanket is secured in the picture on strikehold. I think my friend picked one up recently, and I just wanted to confirm what it was... Yes, that model is also around, mostly sold as the "Special Forces" Ephod. Its basically same as the normal A10, but features a velcro and loop attached backpack. As pointed by MapleLeaf, our Ephod will not be a replica, but an advanced, modernized version. -Angel-
Well if its anywhere near as comfortable and functional as the original, it'll be a winner.
Grimm
Well if its anywhere near as comfortable and functional as the original, it'll be a winner. Well, our changes were: - Better shoulder straps for more comfort - Fastex front instead of metal clamps - Larger and modified "morphyn pouch" to fit more universal needs - Mag Pouches optimised for several types including G36 - Addition of tear-away-IFAK - Radio /Hydration loops on back - Adjustment of canteen pouch for us canteen with cup - Availbillity in OD, CB, BLack, Woodland, DPM(!), Flecktarn, UCP, Rooivalk and later Auscam And thats the next big news: In several weeks we will have DPM in stock! kodiak22
Very sorry for double post, just wanted to correct my last post about the Brush pattern, its not Rhodesian, but Pakistani, wasn't going to double post but for some reason it was agitating me for having wrong info. anyways still wondering how its coming a long . Grimm
Hi, in fact it seems that it is neiter of both. I seen the sample of Pakistani Brushstroke of Henrik.dk, and its different to what I have here, both in weave of the cotton and colors. I reckon, that its made commercially, and not for any goverment. After all, it does the job and thats all that counts! And yes, there is news: It is under production! Aimed price is 59 EUR for the suit, still no low budget for everyone, but I hope OK for most! First images of the camo in-use can be seen here: http://picasaweb.google.de/combatgear.blog/Opfor# NOTE: He is wearing a smock, this piece will be available later!
