sirrith
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=22718 Certainly looks better than the usual 'tactical AK' IMO i actually kind of like this... even though i usually despise all non-wood furniture AKs I dont like the m4 stock though. Pinkfloyd
those are the greatrest rail covers I've ever seen. That kit tho...not sure. Looks okay, but then again, anything makes the AK look better. Not much room for getting worse...
orca
What's kinda sad is the Real Steel, TDI X47 rail system, that UFC copied is selling for $379.00 in the U.S. The price of the X47 copy and the crapiness of the GWS SOPMOD Bolt have really turned me off this conversion ;(

dynamic_e
Freeking ouch. Been waiting for this rail, figured it would be in the $200 range...for $325+ shipping? spend a few bucks more and the the real steel version? Christ.
Catman
LOL I'm not usually an AK fan but this thing just looks.... well evil!! I'd buy an AK and this kit if it wasn't so expensive.
BigAl
Yeah I quite like that and I normally thiny Ak look best in wood and beaten up a bit. Shame about the price though. Perhaps the Chinese will do a knock of version of the Knockoff.

freq88
I've always digged the CAA X-47 but was questionable about the weight of it. But being milled out of 7071 Al I don't see how they could get any cheaper then the real deal.

Jester83
Well the Surefire rail system for the AK is cheaper by $75. http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_dis...2/prrfnbr/24262
sirrith
its also different by 90% but, agreed. stupid price.
my_plague_666
poor AK. maybe change the stock and try to forget that it was an AK74 and look at it from a distace and it might look OK...as far as rail smothered guns go

thatguy
Why not buy the UTG version for like $70? http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AKS101-56003-2276.html edited to add image
orca
The UTG or Surefire AK foregrip rail is not the same rail system as the TDI/CAA X47. You're not comparing the same type of rail systems and you are not replicating a Blackheart Int'l SOPMOD AK.
sirrith
i said something along those lines on the first page, but they just ignored me, orca albeit, i said it in a rather short way

You're not comparing the same type of rail systems and you are not replicating a Blackheart Int'l SOPMOD AK. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I understand that, I was just trying to offer up a MUCH cheaper alternative, especially considering that most people's chief complaint so far has been about price. BHI isn't the only one making modernized AKs, by the way. There are MANY different ways to 'rape' a Kalashnikov nowadays. Personally, I like Ultimak and Krebs pieces best, but for those on a budget I'd recommend the UTG in a heartbeat. On a related note, anybody else seen Inokatsu's latest? Look in the 'Especially' projects for THE STORM GATE
