maverick343432
Apperntly (occording to airsoft news) JG have an mn23 comeing out very soon. It's not the full size version, but the one modled on the m4. Hopefully the full sized version will be released soon. http://airsoft-news.eu/news.php cheers,
chas
Im not interested in the Seburo rifles, neither for its looks norfor its fan interest, but I appreciate JG (and hopefully other manufacturers) doing new, not so popular stuff. Today, a fugly gun you dont know which end to hold, tomorrow, that one fugly gun only you love.
Inq Eisenhorn
I like futuristic looking rifles, but theres so much going on with this rifle, so much that looks surplus to requirements, that it just looks a mess or like a childrens cheap toy. It would have been a lot more profitable for JG had they invested in creating something like a TAVOR.... ...why is it only the consumer who seems to see the obvious?
Siygess
I'd certainly prefer the bullpup MN23, but hey, props to JG for trying something.. different.
Catman
Bad Jing Gong *smack* Naughty Make PSG-1 not this Oh well some anime nuts are going to mess their pants at least
Pinkfloyd
Dude... I love Ghost in Shell, but I can't see buying one of those. It's one thing to watch anime when you're feelign insomniatic, it's another thing to try and play anime with toy guns...
Libris
it's another thing to try and play anime with toy guns... As opposed to trying to play soldiers with toy guns...
BigAl
pawned!
snorkelman
...why is it only the consumer who seems to see the obvious? why is it the consumer thinks hes the only consumer ..diversifying into anime and scifi guns would open up a seperate market for the manufacs willing to do so (ie big fish in small pond rather than one of hundred fish in an ocean of airsoft guns) given that market seems to be dominated by high price non functioning resin casts etc they might get a bit of interest.. theNAMmagazine
As opposed to trying to play soldiers with toy guns... I second that. Let's not forget that airsoft comes to us from the same great nation who brought us anime. While this gun might not be at the top (or even bottom) of everyone's wish list, we should be supporting JG for it. Not condemning them or poking fun at them. Like JLS with the FN2000, it's seems like it's the Chinese "clone" companies that are the only ones taking all the risks here as all I've seen from the major companies are a bazillion washed-up rel-releases of M16 variants and SCARs. Or, they take the other route and produce LMGs priced so far out of reach, price wise, you'd need to hock a kidney to consider one.
Catman
JG are my favourite clone company, I like most of their stuff but lets not get ahead of ourselves here, it's hardly a gun no one's made before; it is after all, just an M4 covered in cr*p.
Crazy_Harry
I'd have to agree with NAM and snorkel here- fair do's to JG for doing something different, and hey, in JP/asia, I'm sure it will be a success. and frankly, wouldn't it be nice, on occasion, for airsoft to be something other than just dressing up in combats and running round playing soldiers? Sci Fi airsoft would open huge avenues for the sport (not least in terms of its respectability in the eyes of Joe Public...)
Siygess
Hmm, I wonder if JG would be interested in making an airsoft DC-15A..
Abelius
Mmmm, think of a complete, cheap M41A Pulse Rifle. *drools*
my_plague_666
never watched GITS (in fact im not much of an anime person, only liked one anime series that i've seen so far), but i've always thought these seburo rifles and stuff look very comfortable to hold.
R1200RT
Lovely, now as long as someone in the UK sells it I'm going to be a happy bunny.
Inq Eisenhorn
Ahhh....ok, fair points. And Snorkelman, I stand corrected. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see more Sci Fi rifles!! Space Marine Storm Bolters, StarCraft Terran Marine Cannons, Gears of War, HALO....my god, the list is endless, and I'd probably bankrupt myself trying to buy them all. In addition I'd love to see more Sci Fi themed games, maybe like Aliens, with people dressed as aliens etc....ultra cool. But, back to reality, most of the companies that own the I.Ps for these weapons wouldn't allow them to be used probably..... Oh well, back to my M4
Pinkfloyd
As opposed to trying to play soldiers with toy guns... lol, I havn't skirmished in 12 months... I'm officially out gents, but I've yet to sell my gear off... i need to go ahead and do that...
theNAMmagazine
Hmm, I wonder if JG would be interested in making an airsoft DC-15A.. Or at least a Sterling to be used as a foundation for one.
Siygess
Well we've seen an ACM Thompson and an MP44 so who knows? Anyone know what JG's email addy is?
tshrake521
eh, looks really small.
Hispeed1
HOLY CR@P! God has answered my prayers! I've been at these for a while. The kits have been sold out when they came out.
uscmCorps
Meh... that's not a Seburo MN-23. It's some abomination that Poseidon JP came up with. If this is the "MN-23" that was discussed in the "China-soft Development" thread then I'm now sad. At least it looks like they're developing this as a completed gun. Poseidon's kits can be a bit of a pain and a fair bit of work.
Revenge Seeker
HOLY CR@P! What the Hell is this? It says 'Japanese M16 kit", do the Japanese have their own M4's that I don't know about? Or is this movie related cr*p? If its the latter, I'm not interested. But if this is a imitation of some real rifle the Japanese have, I might consider it.
