I find if you want a good idea on something, check it out on IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. Going with all 3 gets you a good range of opinions as Rotten Tamotoes is pretty much considered compromised now but does have some valid contributors.

Good? Let's just say it's sitting at 9.7/10 on IMDB. That's higher than BB, The Wire, The Sopranos and GoT...Sure, it doesn't have the number of votes, but still. It's a *fruitcage* masterpiece.

There was one near J2 on the M6 years ago. I'm pretty sure it was a paintball field. I don't know if it's still there though. Probably not.

    My eye! Sweet Jesus, Ouch!

A DJI is on my list but I'm struggling to find a reason to justify it right now as I can't think what I might shoot with it around me. I'm thinking of making a trip to Canada soon so might get one for that due to the stunning scenery there. I have a friend that builds those tiny, racing FPV drones and they are insane. I would worry about being into airsoft and drones though. Two very expensive hobbies.

I forgot about the full frontal nudity in the first ep.

Just saw that. Not sure about international shipping though. It pretty much says, "we have no idea how much it's going to cost. Please buy and we'll send you a request for more money if we underestimated it". They also seem to think they can wash their hands of any problems with the shipping/damage etc once it's out of their hands...Yeah, that's not how contracts work guys... It could easily turn into a £50 poster.

It was announced ages ago. September last year at the All Japan Model & Hobby Show. I figured it didn't need repeating.

    The Computer Question Thread

Quite a lot of free software out there depending on your needs. DaVinci Resolve. Very capable software but needs a somewhat beefy PC and maybe a bit advanced for a novice. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/uk/products/davinciresolve/ Maybe take a look at HitFilm Express. https://fxhome.com/hitfilm-express VideoPad, Avidemux, Openshot, are a bit more basic. No idea on laptops though.

Oh yeah. I forgot to include the Type 89 details. Price, unknown. Summer release. Newly developed dedicated lower receiver and metal folding stock. Short type magazine (20 rounds) is attached. The other specifications and performances, operation mechanisms are the same as Type 89.

I was thinking that too. I had a look but no great deals right now. I'll have to keep an eye out.

Yeah. I don't really need it but I happened to need a torch and all I had handy was my assortment of ancient ones that seem wasteful to throw out. It's even more annoying as it has an LED upgrade which might have been borked by the corrosion too but I can't tell unless I buy the new switch. I seem to recall it was pretty OK when working considering it's fairly ancient tech. Ideal if you don't need to direct the power of a sun at something though.
