I disagree. I have had thousands of rounds each through my TM pistols and I have used nothing but green gas and whatever the most 'powerful' I could find. I've yet to have one break on me. I know plenty of other people in the exact same boat as me too.

I also recently had excellent customer service and communication from them, willing to solve the problem after offering a few suggestions how to go about it in whatever manner was best for me.

Taken BEFORE game on @ Tier1 OP: Jawbreaker at Copehill Down Village with no battery in the gun, an empty mag and a clear building hence the no goggles. Hopefully some in game photos and videos will emerge!

I feel inspired to paint a couple of m4s I have sat lying around after flicking through this thread. No doubt I'll be back next week with updated photos and tales of me crying myself to sleep after messing it up!

Gone with the kwa one with metal slide. Was shooting the real thing last week and it amused me greatly so natural progression dictates I buy the airsoft version (albeit with full auto :s).

Thankfully I got to hold one a lot at the shot show, so I know its real.
In fact, I think that was the one thing I held the most the whole time I was there. It just fits the hand so well.

Big Tony, how easy do you think it would be to open it up and replace what is supposed to be an IR laser with an actual IR laser? I have my LLM sat at home back in the UK waiting for me and I bought it on the strength of the IR laser. If the one in there is rubbish, do you think it would be viable to open it up and replace it with something better?

During Eastwind 4, US First Squad's Birney was captured by the Soviets and, during interrogation, defected after witnessing his fellow prisoner be executed and being grilled by the Soviets. Birney really was like a deer caught in headlights, having chosen a 9 day Milsim as his first airsoft game and his reaction to being captured and interrogated by Misha deep behind enemy lines was probably the most genuine. He really was bricking it.
