Pain_is_Red Posted March 29, 2007 Report Share Posted March 29, 2007 Bad news for yours truly I got mine of Tuesday, charged up the battery today - Not firing any bbs. Yup. A lemon! Broken out of the box. Apparently the nozzle wasn't doing its job or there is something more to it. So, I took the gun back to where I bought it (a 45-50 minute trek) told them my problem and they gave me a new one. Brought it home and fired it... Yup! You guessed it! Another lemon! The gun shoots but it drips bbs on semi or it fires multiple rounds. So now I have to take the gun back and try and have them either figure out what is wrong with it and fix it or get yet another one and hope for the best. That seems to be a problem alot of of the current SCAR, and I am afraid to buy one until then. I don't like buying a 370-380 dollar gun and having to fix it after 300 rounds. TerranCmdr Posted April 1, 2007 Report Share Posted April 1, 2007 According to AEX's website.... We tested the SCAR with all compatible magazines that are currently in the airsoft market. We found the only magazines that are not completely compatible (due to feeding and fitting in the SCAR) are the following: * G&P 130 midcaps * G&G Thermold * AMP Tactical Hicaps * TM Type 89 magazine So any m16/armalite magazine besides those four should work in the SCAR.
