tome
http://forums.airsoftmechanics.com/index.php?topic=654.0 PsyphyerVII - you are a modding god. For those of you that have hacked your ICS m4 to take standard one-piece hops, you can get 90% towards a PTW with this add-on
finderella1
Sounds like these will be available from RSOV in the future
Angry
I'd definitely be interested in one of those.
101matt1
Anti-dry fire hop? If it doesn't make my gun shoot like ###### then I'll get one...
Albert E.
Looks interesting but the more electronic is inside the more flaws are possible. That thing is probably a big source of defect.
Epyon
http://forums.airsoftmechanics.com/index.php?topic=654.0 PsyphyerVII - you are a modding god. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That guy is great. I stopped building my own fets, and have been buying his from the ASR classifieds. Very nice units, and cheap! I'm sure I'll pick one of these up in the future.
Catman
Sounds good, as long as you can wire the cocking handle and bolt release to the button that'll allow the gun to fire again (can't see why not) - I'd get one
Carbine
Very nice! I look forward to reading more about these.
Slash'
I'm not sure that AEGs need more things that can go wrong... It's a nice idea but, until I find out more about these, I'm not so convinced.
camilion705
What a great idea! As long as they are reliable of course...
Dusk
As if airsoft didn't involve too many electrical parts now... Sun project... here i come.
evilliboba
As if airsoft didn't involve too many electrical parts now... Sun project... here i come. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh yes. With Escort working on a working bolt-catch I could see this being used for awesome effects.
Fin
I like, and if it is unreliable and they do a m16 version i can make a realistic m16

Sasquatch
Aw man... this thread got the wheels turning. Now I want a FET, active braking, resettable fuse and all that stuff. -jake
lovecraft25
Aw man... this thread got the wheels turning. Now I want a FET, active braking, resettable fuse and all that stuff. -jake <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ... plus a functionnal release latch to let the spring decompress too (damn PGC with their expensive GB). 3vi1-D4n
I thought about this before, and yes its the only way to do it, but a very energy inefficient way. I guess if the hop unit is powered by the main battery it would be ok, but a manual switch is possibly better and more efficient than emitting an IR beam. Just yes because AEGs don't feed all its rounds, the switch may not work.
Bob the Angry Potato
Wow, this is the most awesome thing I've seen in a long, long time. I want- wonder if he'll make one for an AUG?
DWells55
If these can be mass-manufactured and made easy to install with decent instructions, I can definitely see a profit for this guy. Along with a reasonable price in the $50ish area he'd probably have a lot of people interested. I'd probably buy one, more realism is always good.
Shard
Sounds impressive to say the least, shame I don't own an Armalite or AK though. Could be a good excuse to get a 416 though maybe
