Were you using Krylon Camouflage spray paint?

Where did you find Medium Brown, if so?

Yes I was using Krylon Camo paint. I'm military and they had that color at the BX (base exchange). To give you more info its 8147 Medium Brown and if your hard ware store carries krylon they should be able to order that color for you. :D

Nope, they can't. Already tried all of them. :P

So... next time my Dad wants to make a run for garrison covers, I guess that I'll have to remember to come along and swing by the PX.

I originally did some of my guns with a Badger airbrush and used Humbrol enamel model paints in matt.

Then I switched to a more realistic(mil-sim) Krylon spray can as you don't need control if your imitating the real deal. Soldiers are not artists.

hey i was just wondering if anyone has tried baking there metal parts(i.e. metal bodies and such) and if so have you ahd any excess with it lasting longer.

If it does help i was also curious to know if its as simple as painting your item, letting it dry and baking it for a while.

Has anybody had any luck using an Airbrush for painting guns instead of a spray can? And if so, what brand of paint do you use?

I just think an airbrush would allow much more control and would make patterns so much easier.

Yeep, I use an Airbrush and these are the results I get,

Ive put these pic before but it seems people dont look all the way back on threads
