Zereck
Thats strange. I have Lonex gears, shims and bushings in my 416 and they work perfectly. You sure you pushed the bushing in hard enough? On mine they needed a bit force to actually get in their slot.
VIPER-GR
i forced them in all the way but the gears needed also force to get in and they barely spinned, with the magic boc ones they spinned freely. I guess i got a lemon....
Richard Y
sometimes you can undo the piston head by hand .. Sometimes you can't. You just have to try and see. I find a rag in each hand for purchase best. And yes it's common for original cylinder heads to loose compression at the base of the nozzle guide. Not that common but enough to say I've seen it before
KyleKatarn
So what would be the most common battery adapters today? Still Gunsmith and Triggertalk? I did resolder my past AEGs to deans, is that easy to do with the Sopmod? Edited November 4, 2014 by KyleKatarn
mr.whathesays
Are the 416/M4 Upper/Lower interchangeable? If so, could someone make a picture of of a M4-Lower with a 416-Upper?
mr.whathesays
Nobody??
Richard Y
they are interchangeable but the 416 lower is 2mm wider. so thats a 1mm difference on each side.
mr.whathesays
Okay..thanks! Does someone hava a Photo of that combination?

Bacta
Thanks bud, I've got one more: I received my new CQB-R a couple of weeks ago and want to resolder it to deans, by using an extension cable. Now, what would be best method to connect the wiring of the Marui to the extension cable? Normal crimps? What AWG should the extension cable have? Does the Marui have 16awg wiring? Oh and I'm wondering if I should leave a fuse out or not if using a 7.4v 1200mAh 25-50c Lipo. Thank you so much Edited November 12, 2014 by Bacta
Bacta
I think I'm going to solder the extension directly to the Marui wire, if no objection is raised..
Richard Y
most common at the moment is soldiering wires directly to the end metal bars, thus restaining the quick change bars and solid stock feel, but simply removing the end connection which fits the quick change. then most wire in parallel for more battery power. Bacta
Thing is that I ditched the Vltor stock in favor to a normal non-TM Cranestock, so I can't use the metal bars.
Richard Y
Then yes if it's rear wired and your using a normal aeg stock then your only option would be to solider straight to the wires.
mr.whathesays
Do you guys think the prometheus spring-guide is an usefull upgrade to a stock or m100-upgrade Marui??
SixtyNiner
It's not essential at all, but you will get a small fps boost - 5-10fps.
Bacta
So again a noob question, is a 100 Spring still going to assort well with the stock hop-up assembly/rubber? And I'm worried that the trigger response won't be that snappy anymore, even with a 7.4V Lipo?
JCheeseright
M100 will be fine, I doubt you'll notice any slowdown in trigger response and the stock hop up set won't require any adjustment.
mr.whathesays
Installed a Eagle6 M100 today and there is almost no difference in trigger response! Now i'm waiting for the new marui super high torque motor and it will be perfect.. Btw: Installing the spring was easy going, thanks to richards videos!! I got 332 fps on a completely stock 416! Bacta
So you're using a 7.4 or stock 8.4v? Thanks for your feedback!
