Modern Ranger Loadout

depends, pantac is now up to atleast 3 different versions of their RG, and they differ allot from eachother... I have a sucky camera so I cant take any reference pictures but the last version of pantac is much darker kinda kompared to EI and AIs RG that I also have. remember the first version was really light green kinda, the 2nd version is a bit darker but not to dark. I have 2 frag pouches from pantac on my EI/AI RRV because I couldnt source any EI ones and one of the pouches stands out as to light but the 2nd almost looks like EIs RG.

But the latest pantac RG is to dark for my taste...

^ Got a new toy, and kinda wanna Ranger it up ca. '09, anyone got some advice on this front?

Any chance of getting away with a Para stock?

Also, running 100rds cloth mags, should I go for the buckled or non-buckled ammo pouches?

I know what it is, and that it's not Ranger legit as of now: this is why I'm asking for proper advice here.

OK here it comes :)

para stock works OK if you belive this picture:

the problem with converting M249 to a MK46 is 2:

1. The magazine "port"(whatever its called in english) on the left side doesnt exist on MK46s

2.The mount to have it vehicle mounted just below the gas regulator on the M249 doesnt exist on the MK46.

Those are the big ones. the rest can easy be fixed by adding/changing this on your gun:

*Barrel: its distinctive cooling parts and that it has no gas regulator, so its a key item

*RAS: I cant find a correct one right now (lack of time, at work atm) but you need the RAS ontop of the barrel as well where you mount PEQ-15 as well.

Then a eotech or aimpoint to finish it off.

and if you get your hands on a pair of real MK46 bipods you are the king... they differ allot from the M249. (although I have seen a few MK46s with M249 bipod but thats on internet, cant remember seeing it on any ranger pics)

Thats all i can think of now, Im not sure what flashlight you should use, probleby the same as the Block 2 thingy on the M4...

Dang, this makes me regret I sold my G&P MK46 :(
