bbstriker
Has anyone done it yet? Anyone??? Didn't think so... Well, the manual says it can be programed so one would hope that it's a feature the manufacturer is refining to release at sometiome in the future. We can only hope!

We can only hope! LOL.. The manual also shows a non-existent website. Don't forget these are China copies. How much after-sales support do you think there will actually be? The manufacturere may not even be around anymore!

How much after-sales support do you think there will actually be? The manufacturere may not even be around anymore! Quoted for truth. China is the new Wild West, maybe even worse than the original. Glad I'm in HK, although it's getting more Chinese here every day. There is at least one person here in HK who managed to reprogram to the 409MHz band. Now he's fumbling around with rcv/trx issues. galactica
note that you will have to get them programmed to licensed channels, and have a license, for them to be legal to use. These will never be strictly legal to use on PMR.

WhiteHawksan
Isn't there a regulation regarding the power output?
galactica
How come if we are using the PMR frequencies? Because in low power mode they're too powerful, they have a high power mode and they have removable antennae. All of these things mean you're not legally allowed to use them on PMR446 frequencies. Yes,i read those stipulations & understand now.Fingers crossed nothing ever comes from it or i'll just have to get a license.
