I have picked it up in Saudi and UAE. Shame, as I don't get out that way. Ironic though, like the 'English Mufins' you get in the states. Quite unlike anything over here. but, my missus is an accounts manager for a local ice cream company! For me, that would be like an alcoholic marrying a pub landlord. You lucky feller. Greg. blue_5
Has anyone tried something like this? The one and only time in my life i ate in a posh (ie Michelin star type) restaurant, i had, for starter, Chicken Tikka with thyme ice cream. Being as my usual dining experiences usually involve no more thought than whether i do indeed want fries with that, i was taken aback. However, my missus assured me it was quite nice. Oh well, i thought, ill just eat the Tikka if its rank. One word. Wow. I cant even describe the taste, i just remember that it was amazing - I finally had a glimmer of what they talk about on Masterchef etc. about balancing and complimenting flavour and texture. blue_5
I think it was the formal restaurant at the Rose and Crown hotel (its a 14th century inn) in Colchester, but i just had a look at the menu, and it looks a lot different - none of the things I had are on there. This was a few year ago, mind.

RSM
An ice cream parlour/internet cafe opened about 6 months ago about a 10 minute walk away from my house, they do a flavour called 'Cokey', as in the coal related stuff, because its vanilla with a slight hint of caramel and it's got chunks of cinder toffee in it. I've had to limit visits to a Saturday after work only thing otherwise my time is going to be split between sleep, work, gym, airsoft, ice cream and Arnies. Do note that if I do stop posting for a long time then the ice cream has taken over and I'm in a perpetual cylcle of ice cream, gym, work and powernaps going to and from airsoft sites. WeirdoTransvestite
My favorites are chocolate, strawberry, and Rocky Road. Especially rocky road. Oh and those snickers ice cream bars someone mentioned. Most of the other flavors out there I just get bored with before I can finish it.
