ollie_ty
Are you using a real Z Point? or just the Star/ACM one?
Atsalakotos
As you can kinda tell from the pictures, the WE mag is a bit wider than the PMAG. This is especially visible from the tob as the inner gas workings would be an extremely tight fit, if they would fit at all. The PMAG has some ribs on the inside that run the length of the mag so it would take ALOT of sanding/dremeling/etc to open up the PMAG. You would probably end up making the PMAG like paper thin to get the WE internals to fit... Also the mag catch is not quite in the same place as the WE mag but I think that could be adjusted. The PMAG itself is too fat to fit properly in the WE's magwell but again, that could be fixed. One of the other major problems is how to secure the internals to the PMAG and though it probably can be done, I was not crazy about any of the ideas I could see that would work. So... anyone wanna buy a RS G36 PMAG? Very interesting! I would love to try fitting the WE Mag internals into that. If you are really interested in selling that, I am here
DeltaThirteen
Sorry the picture isn't very good, but I no longer have the gun and it's the only I can find. I sold it to a friend thinking I was going to get out of airsoft. LOL Edited January 5, 2012 by DeltaThirteen
Matthias
Hey guys, I need some help with a feeding problem I am having with my CA G36k. My setup: CA G36k ProWin Hopup Chamber Madbull blue bucking SHS Airseal nozzle. Private Parts M4 Magwell adapter And a sector chip The mags I am using to test this are King arms M4 Midcaps and a Tokyo Marui Hicap. Here's the fun bit: Both mags feed flawlessly with the addition of a spacer between the hopup chamber and the gearbox. This spacer is only .3mm thick However, without the spacer, the TM mag misses one shot every 5 or 6 and the KA mags fail to load about 1 of every 3 shots. Another fun fact, the gun will feed fine without the spacer as long as the magwell isn't completely in place. Can anyone give me some ideas here? Even though it is a very small spacer I hate to lose any air from a poor seal between the nozzle and the bucking. Here is a picture of the spacer if that helps: (The nozzle isn't all the way forward in this picture, obviously) EDIT: I forgot to mention, my objective here is to modify either the chamber or (hopefully) the magwell to allow BB loading without the need of a spacer. Again, thanks to anyone who can help me here. Edited January 7, 2012 by Matthias
Yuri
Just an idea: You could put in the spacer and then install a longer nozzle. I believe an AUG nozzle is slightly longer and could work. I ran one in my G36 with the stock hop unit and it worked.
ollie_ty
Maybe its because the Airseal nozzle you have in is designed for a normal hop up chamber, and that paired wit the fact that the Pro Win chamber sits slightly further back (perhaps designed to improve airseal for a NORMAL nozzle?) is causing your gun to misfeed? Matthias
It happened with both nozzles actually, I should have mentioned that. Although I just got it chrono'd today, I figure 405 fps with 120 and a .25g isn't too bad. I guess I have a good seal. Edited January 9, 2012 by Matthias
Section 8
You could always leave the spacer in place and remove material from the front of the tappet plate.
Matthias
Hmm. That sounds like a good idea. Thank you.
fyurian
get rid of the CA part, really throw it in the trash i had to place a cut open spacer in between my magwell and the prowin hopup because the nozzle hits the of the hop chamber itself and then u dont feed anymore
Atsalakotos
Here is my G36C (WE G39C) I have rounded the edges on the left-side rail so it doesn't dig into my hand when I don't wear gloves. On top there is a Magpul RSA, MBUS (Chinese), and an Eotech XPS Replica by Element, which I am surprised to say that it stands up to the recoil of this gun perfectly! Also, I have cut off all the nubs on all my magazines that lock them together, so they don't snag on my pouches that much. Crappy Iphone pics... When I find my camera I will get some better ones. I am also looking for a magnifier mount that will have enough clearance for the MBUS, if anyone has any suggestions, tell me.
FIN-Hawkins
Got a new G36 today. TM G36C, with no upgrades, external nor internal. I immediately threw in some parts that I had been saving for it (silencer, red dot and extendable stock). Still needs side rails, a longer under rail and an AFG, which are in the mail. Phone picture, I apologize about the quality.

Atsalakotos
Atsalakotos - Any tips on the paracord wrap and sling mount you have there? It isn't anything complicated, its a key ring wrapped with paracord and both ends tied together with a reaaally basic knot. (No boyscout skills!!!)

FELDJAGER
why is everyone ignoring this rifle!? is that the newish aluminum hand guard?
ollie_ty
Yes sir! Its great. Annoyingly, I failed to recognise that the rails for these handgaurds arent the same rails for the C/K length handguards. Luckily I had one that could go on the bottom. Also, the airsoft G36 bipods fit without issue. I just need to get a Z Point cover ( None of the shops in the US will send me one, stupid ITAR) and I'll be happy. Im considering cutting up my clone Z point clone and putting a (Much higher quality) T-1 clone inside it. Alternatively, working out a way of putting the Z Point cover OVER the T-1 so it looks 'legit'
Atsalakotos
And what is that handguard exactly?
