hwagan
My WA GBBR's upper receiver looks like Robocop has been using it for a makeshift Fleshlight 'n all. I wouldn't worry too much.

akiraspeedstar
Yeah it's normal, though when I switched from Silicone to Frog Lube, the wear pretty much stopped.
Number5
Some really good advice and reviews here guys, alot of food for thought, and just when I had gotten the TDC Hop mod completed on my KJW M4 and was really starting to enjoy using it I have to keep coming back here and reading the positive comments about what appears to be an excellent RIF and probably my next purchase. (I have that feeling that pre-empts an airsoft purchase...) Do any UK players know of any UK retailers who have it in stock or are expecting it in soon? Can't find it in any of my regular haunts. Not against importing one, would just prefer to support UK retailers (and receive their support...) Also, more videos of the LM4 firing please! just cant get enough of seeing it/hearing it, shoot! J. bladerunner168
None of the big UK retailers are carrying this right now. I got my LM4 PTS from WGC.
akiraspeedstar
Sounds better in person than it does in videos
weekenny
Noooo don't say that. I have two KJW rifles, mind you I'd be interested to see how this cycles in the cold.
Horsem4n
i just picked up an lm4 pts and they shoot 50fps hotter on average than the ptr. i have a cqb game coming up soon that i want to take this to, but i need to downgrade it. any quick advice on what i can do to drop the muzzle velocity? i have already cut the barrel down to 10 inches and tried pitting a shim in the nozzle, but the *badgeress* still shoots above 380 fps. i have no time to get a npas right now, but thats what im going to be doing later. i have it kitted out, so after action reports and pics are coming soon. I cut the rocket valve spring 2 coils and it dropped the FPS below 350fps. Though I don't recommend it as every couple of shots it'll only do like 260fps. I'm going to install a dangerwerx valve soon as from another experience, dropped it to 325-335fps.

Maybe try putting heat shrink over the rocket valve? This should work in a similar concept to the Dangerwerx valve.
Lasairiona
I have put heat shrink over the rocket valve, but i can't chrono it until next sunday. When I have the results I'll post them :-). Greetings
akiraspeedstar
Alright, seems the FPS drops was due to the piston o-ring, I changed it out to a different o-ring and now the FPS holds strong at 310-320fps.
Horsem4n
awesome, thanks, ill do that for now. Edited August 26, 2012 by Horsem4n
akiraspeedstar
I'd go with 1.5 coils though, that way it'll probably be closer to 350fps. Then if you need to take off more then you can, can't ever add spring back haha.
GI Tye
And here is a small YouTube video of my modified KWA LM4 with a full auto mag dump at the end. Enjoy.
Lasairiona
I put the heat shrink around the rocket valve, it took the fps to 310-315 on green, I'm happy with that :-), Greetings

uscmCorps
Several of us now have these guns. A couple of us have been using them for quite a while now. I've been very happy with their out of the box performance so far.

uscmCorps
I strongly recommend checking out the KWA LM4 Forum. They have a lot of plethora of information on this product.
hwagan
Curiosity, but has anyone/is anyone able to try and see if a WA M4 upper fits on this? I'm guessing it's unlikely...
kullwarrior
Curiosity, but has anyone/is anyone able to try and see if a WA M4 upper fits on this? I'm guessing it's unlikely... not possible due to the two pin hole size differently.
hwagan
Damn Cheers for the confirmation dude.
uscmCorps
That was a conscious decision on KWA's part. That and a few other key alterations to the core design ensured that the BATF would allows the product to be imported into the US.
