vigilante
im not an expert but i think a tommy gun is the one with the drum magazine and the grip in the front, a modified more casual version of the m1a1 Â m1a1: Â 'tommy gun':
michael_collins
That car15 is nice but the absurdly long barrel makes it even better lookin dontask me why.

The second one with the drum mag and such is the M1921 Thompson.

I don't know, never into Thompsons. Its style is too old for me. It was great in Call of Duty though.
SpiKe64
well spoons got it right i belive except its the m1928 though not 21? am i right or wrong on that? the notable difference between the two is the m1a1 doesnt have the compensator or grip and can only accept the box magazine Edited November 25, 2004 by SpiKe64
sp00n
well spoons got it right i belive except its the m1928 though not 21? am i right or wrong on that? the notable difference between the two is the m1a1 doesnt have the compensator or grip and can only accept the box magazine <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Â It could be the 28. The M1A1 accepts the box mag and the regular mags. The 28 I belive only accepts the boxes.
SpiKe64
what no the 28 can accept drum and box the m1a1 can only accept box box being the long smg type magazine and drum being the circle one

Hissing_Sid
Incidentally, neither of those guns, in the pic above, is an M1a1. They're both 1928's. Â The M1a1 had the charging handle on the side, rather than on the top.

It is the 1921-1929 so it really is the same but they are most commonly called the 1921 when the date is really unknown.

skeeter
Here's my armoury. The ones on the ugly cardboard background are airsoft. The G7, the infamous ceramic pistol, is a 'real steel' gun I keep in Germany for when I'm doing undercover work there. It's perfectly suited to my role as an international crime fighter.
