ruchik Posted July 20, 2007 Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 (edited) yup, cocked and locked, with manual safety on. condition 2 would be chamber loaded, hammer down, and condition three would be chamber unloaded, hammer down. the beauty of the 1911 is that in condition one, after flicking off your safety (in the natural motion of your draw, i mite add), all the gun has to do is drop the hammer. nothing in between to be cocked or loaded or drawn back or whatever.
