Kalash AKMS

Oh for the love of...

You mean LiMPS? I cant bring myself to call it blow back, that gives the impression its not totally sh*t.

'little metal plate shuffle', as in, the system I disengaged in my vfc akms as soon as I got it home, the most ridiculous of all pathetic and rubbish marketing gimmicks?

I hope it doesn't, because it lets dust into the gearbox even when disengaged, and when engaged, is complete rubbish, and is simply pushed back by the piston, not sitting forward fully half the time. Oh, and to cater for it, the dummy bolt carrier is very looses fitting, rattling like a pos low end aeg, my kalash is better in this area.

I hope it doesn't have a limps system.

I was holding of to get a VFC AKMS myself but I think I'll be going for the Kalash now. Looks great.

Initial comparisons of the VFC versus steel kalash, external finish on VFC is nicer, but the kalash fore grips are more solid, not movement posible, I think the kalash(74) is, bar the finish, better built than the VFC akms I got.

looks good, they even cloned the fugly VFC pistol grip :P

I was actually gonna praise Kalash for it. I dont know if its realistic or not, but I like it a lot more than a black or fugly Element red-brown grip.

NICE! :D

I've been waiting for a beautiful and reasonably priced AKMS for quite a while now and this looks like it will fit the bill perfectly. Love that sexy bakelite effect pistol grip and (what appears to be) laminated plywood handguard too.

I think there's a D-Boys AKMS and a ACM PBS-1 suppressor in my future ^_^

Couldn't give a hoot about the jiggly bolt though. If it has one, nifty, I just hope they won't charge any extra for the feature. If it doesn't have it, fine as well, the gun shall be more reliable.

This is very reminiscent of when the Kalash AK74U came out...

First week I got mine I bumped in to a chap on-site that had the VFC version. We swapped and had a look at each other's AEG. In the end I think he was a bit disgruntled because my Kalash wasn't too far off his VFC - with the exception of the finish.

Like you mentioned, VFC has the edge on a much more pleasing finish...

But there again, the Kalash finish is also much better than the flat black finish that CYMA use.

I can't wait for the Kalash AKMS to come out in the UK - I wonder who will be first to have it in stock?

its nice they made the effort, but if/when i get one i'll be swapping the pistol grip out for an LTC bakelite effect grip.

Yep, I don't know what's going on there! LOL

Luckily I have a spare bakalite AKM grip in my spares box. For everyone else I'm sure Element do a reasonable replica one.

....Be nice if Kalash turned it's attention to a RPK next! ;)
