AdmittingSword
I'll check it out ONLY if PTS doesn't do their usual 'price the airsoft part practically the same as the actual rifle part' whole deal. If they do, ACM UBR it is for me!
orca
Was posted here on Arnie's too... http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/news2/8046
Whan
Big question is price... I'm really hoping for somewhere around $125, but given PTS' pricing track record, it may be the RS cost, which is way over most airsofters budgets.
fiddlesticks4220
Any idea on lipo size? how easy would the lipo be to get to? and i hope it costs 150 like some people were saying.
AnakChan
Pity it's not for the G&P/WA GBB. We should have bets on the price ...my guess is be $260 mark.
Roecar
Pity it's not for the G&P/WA GBB. We should have bets on the price ...my guess is be $260 mark. Lol for that much I'll just hope that I can find a real one in stock somewhere in the US.
AnakChan
Lol for that much I'll just hope that I can find a real one in stock somewhere in the US. Have you noticed though that the PTS prices aren't too far of from the RS? Check out the MBUS and MIAD. In fact for the CTR stock the PTS version is slightly more expensive than RS. Whan
I know, but the thing is, people still buy 'em. I would buy a CTR at $90, but wouldn't buy a PTS PRS for $250. Hence, the PTS PRS sells very poorly in comparison to the CTR and to the RS selling distributions. In the same way, though more will buy the UBR than the PRS, it won't sell too well with airsofters... just my .02.
REVOA4
Does the UBR require a longer buffer tube? If it does than that will drive the price up with a proprietary buffer tube.
Whan
I think the UBR comes with a Buff tube. The RS one does anyways. The Buff tube is proprietary, however, but I don't see why they wouldn't include one with the gun.
AnakChan
It appears this Magpul PTS UBR is for the AEG and in the photos it comes with an adapter for a short ended receiver rather than for the long ended receiver. So I don't believe it comes with a buffer tube. The ACM version comes with both AEG adapter and a buffer tube for the WA/G&P styled GBB. The external length of that ACM UBR buffer tube is the same length as RS. However inner depth seems to be deeper than a std buffer tube. e.g. I needed to put in a speed buttstock buffer for the ACM UBR buffer tube. Or, maybe my std. buffer tube already had a speed buttstock inside without me being aware of it.
Vercingetorix
You know a hacksaw does wonders to those long type receivers
fiddlesticks4220
Who was it on this forum that had insider info on this being 160 dollars?
fulltimekiller
I know the price: US$
Horsem4n
yep, just came out on redwolf. USD149.99 in the end, its a $90 savings for something close in quality.
PlasticMag
Can it fit gas rifles? *edit - guess not. Well, that's a dissapointment.
helping_hand
Not half bad price wise. Guessing FS will get these in as they seem to stock a lot of the other stuff. OD Blaster here I come heh.
rws591
I am sold, this will look great on my SR15.
tanpanther
I guess if you use a real UBR buffer tube, probably it will fits.
Spartan452
price is not too bad at all, but this won't fit on a GBBr?
rws591
Nope, buffer tubes don't attach on the same on a RS receiver and an AS receiver. Since it uses, or should use, a proprietary buffer it won't work. They will probably come out with one at a later date though that is for WA spec receivers.
elanaiba
I wonder what kind of battery would fit inside the stock - if I were to fit this on my SOPMOD Marui, for example
rws591
It is not so much the batteries that are the problem, but all the wiring.
