KWA TO PRODUCE GBB VERSION OF KRISS VECTOR SMG

City of Industry, CA – July 29, 2010 - KWA is pleased to announce an exciting partnership with KRISS Systems SA, designer and manufacturer of the KRISS Vector submachine gun. KRISS Systems SA, a Swiss global industry leader in firearm innovation, holds the patent for the unique Super V System found in the KRISS Vector.

Unlike conventional firearm designs, the KRISS Super V System redirects recoil forces to aid the user, rather than work against the user. Even with the powerful recoil of the .45 ACP round, the Vector "reduces felt recoil by as much as 70% and muzzle climb by as much as 95%!" This breakthrough design has been featured in popular television programs such as Future Weapons and Ultimate Weapons. It has also received numerous accolades from the staff writers of Guns and Weapons for Law Enforcement and Popular Science for revolutionizing firearms engineering. The KRISS Vector SMG is currently under evaluation by various special operations units worldwide to become a referenced weapon for Close Quarter Battle and Urban Warfare. With such advanced technology, an airsoft version is the natural step.

KWA has been granted an exclusive, worldwide license to design and produce GBB (Gas Blow Back) versions of the KRISS Vector, never before done within the airsoft industry. The first prototype of the Vector GBB will be unveiled at the 2011 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new airsoft gun will be 1:1 in dimensions and powered by KWA's advanced gas system technology; providing consistent and reliable operation KWA products are known for. Pricing and release dates will be announced in the future.

"Designing the GBB airsoft KRISS Vector SMG is a unique challenge that requires both innovative out-of-the-box thinking and strong Research and Development capabilities. Powered by precision engineering, high performing products and a passion to outperform, we entrusted KWA as the sole manufacturer of all our current and upcoming KRISS GBB airsoft products" said Christophe Guignard, Director of Marketing of KRISS Systems SA.

With unparalleled customer and warranty service, KWA strives to ensure that all of its products are of the highest quality and its customers are properly cared for. The introduction of the 2GX AEG (Airsoft Electric Gun) gearbox and the NS2 GBB system has set a new standard in airsoft technology.

I thought the hop on MP7s was good, I would imagine they would use something similar.

Range is, i've never seen one with particularly good shot to shot consistency and accuracy though. It seems to work a lot better on longer barreled models; My USP Match isn't too bad, and the Mp7's are a little better still, but compare the range and accuracy of a TM 1911 to anything made by KSC/KWA and you'll wonder why they still use the outdated and generally not too efficient design. My SigPro was basically useless after 20 metres, when my lowly WE 1911 hits the same tree at 40.

Im fearing the price....

What a coincidence, but just yesterday, before hearing about this, the new EBB HERAS Glock conversion kit made me think about asking Paul to give a Glock-to-KRISS conversion kit a thought.
