Misfit
Well next time phrase your posts like you aren't a retard. I could teach you context but I think you're passed that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I phrased my post correctly. I posted a picture from the Gulf War, not of blokes in Afghanistan, so his post "so all you need is a chicom and a Landrover with a few M2s and Gimpys on it" was wrong. Besides, half of the blokes in Afghanistan are using ATV's and horses. So stfu before you make yourself look like even more of a tit.

sandstorm
Hmm... ANy of you have any idea how well this would fit for 'modern' set: http://www.army-surplus.co.uk/Merchant2/4....Category_Code=V Combined with a G3SD (thus G3 mags) and Soldier95 DPM cammies set? Or was this some sort of transitory item that passed out of use fast? The internal, integrated sidearm holster would help me with the pistol issue for now. I'd be able to haul the pistol around in case I need it, but it'd not 'jump and shout' at anyone looking at me... Also, anyone know how well that store ships within EU? mr eagle
This is without actually having used the vest but i beleive the brit vest holster are designed for pistols smaller than a SIG226/Glock 17 so im not sure if that will be any use to you also they are a bugger to access with any speed. Also all the kit i have seen that is standard issue is not worth the price tag we are being charged. This place offers high qaulity goods at much better prices though i don't know if they will ship abroad (never hurts to ask) UK Tactical
Kingmob3
If you get a webtex, then the holster will only fit a browning HP or a 1911 style gun, the issue vest holds a P226 alright. KM
Misfit
and always will be. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have another point on this. The MoD is planning to replace the Land Rover with this:
Tommygunn
What is it? Looks like an airport plane tractor.
mr eagle
How can you replace the land rover with that pile of ######!?
Leadmill
A modified G-Wagon prehaps??
Belladonna
its g wagen... and no, its a new design, a fast recon vehicle, similar to the snatch... although i dont like how little forward protection there is. and the Ops vests are still used now, usually over civilian clothing, or mix dpm etc, so it could be used. Spedz
I've hard underneath it all that modding it's a toyota Hilux. After all Hilux's are the hardest metals known to man.

stubbornbugger
I have another point on this. The MoD is planning to replace the Land Rover with this: broom broom <{POST_SNAPBACK}> wtf comfortable seats? looks nice though, a specialist gun wagon
Chimpy
It's just a SupaCat HMT400 fitted out with the wimik kit... not really ground breaking is it? Sticking two awesome ideas together. USSF used them as 'motherships' in combination with a similar kit-out on their HMMVs. It'll also be buggering about carrying this: http://www.lockheedmartin.co.uk/news/178.html
starburst
From the news paper article I read its not meant to replace the Land Rover, its a more combat orientated vehicle, the Land Rover will still be used where it is most practical.
Misfit
its g wagen... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No it's not. As Chimpy said, it's a Supacat HMT 400 http://www.supacat.com/supacat_products_hmt400.htm wtf comfortable seats? looks nice though, a specialist gun wagon <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From the news paper article I read its not meant to replace the Land Rover, its a more combat orientated vehicle, the Land Rover will still be used where it is most practical. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Meh, there's always conflicting information with this stuff. Presumably it's for running around Afghanistan, based on the design.
Chimpy
Well given how open it is you aren't going to be using it to run Route Irish.
Belladonna
No it's not. Leadmill
No I wasn't, do you read my posts with your eyes closed. G-Wagen is completly different from a Landy, go back to posing in front of your mirror....
Chimpy
Crikey, I'm being blinded by swelling egos. Leadmill obviously was replying to how do you improve the Landy not the new Supacat doo-dad. Belladonna corrected his spelling and said that it's something completely different (i.e. the Supacat as I said). Misfit misread it and TBH so did I till I re-read those posts. Which is no reason to get narky at him. Chill people.
Leadmill
I was actually saying the the Mercedes G-Wagon and the Ford Land Rover are not the same thing, didn't think it was that unclear....
