I carry mine with me everywhere, and now I'm finding excuses to use it these days.   Oh and I've found that the batteries last forever on these things, they really are more efficient! Vercingetorix
Wow! They are luverly On another note, I have decided in the pursuit of a high lumen surefire with good runtime, the M4 devastator is the way to go... Does anyone here have one, who can coment on it, like what its intensity does at close range, IE will it light up a room well? Thanks!

el caparzo
for spec'... link to surefire website  the power of HL1's led are not very impressive but enough to read a map in dark... I've pay 132$ here Edited June 29, 2008 by el caparzo
Cpt. Shadow Fox
The helmet light has a few different settings ranging from something like .2 to 20 lumens. Last time I saw one it was $120-ish. Â The M4 devastator definitely will light up a room. For me anything over 100 lumens can illuminate a large room pretty well. Edited June 29, 2008 by Cpt.
