Just picked up my first Surefire, a G2 LED at the Military Clothing store for $50 this morning. :P (Hell the 6P there was only $44)

This thing is at least 2-3 times brighter than my Mini-Maglite with NightIze LED conversion...

Pretty awesome lil things aren't they? I carry mine with me everywhere, and now I'm finding excuses to use it these days.

Oh and I've found that the batteries last forever on these things, they really are more efficient! :D

I got a MP5 628f getting mailed out today.. got it for only $100 shipped :)...... What foregrip is in that other pic? And Titliest, judging from the real stock on there, do you know if it would be able to be modded to fit an AEG? And house Batteries?

Are you talking about my mp5? if so its a escort so no need for batterys.

Wow! They are luverly ;) On another note, I have decided in the pursuit of a high lumen surefire with good runtime, the M4 devastator is the way to go... Does anyone here have one, who can coment on it, like what its intensity does at close range, IE will it light up a room well? Thanks!

If my 60 lumen G2 (non LED) can light up a two car garage, I'm sure that can do it and more.

The helmet light has a few different settings ranging from something like .2 to 20 lumens. Last time I saw one it was $120-ish.

The M4 devastator definitely will light up a room. For me anything over 100 lumens can illuminate a large room pretty well.
