RacingManiac
Is that an IED? I thought those are the long dustcover(Infinity Extended Dustcover?)...but yea, that's a single stacker 1911...
L4byr1nth
I don't believe I just posted that in the wrong thread. Ben.
wwjkc
that's not an IED, it's the Infinity standard 1911, was limited production run, good gun, nasty grip
ViciousV10s
OOpsie, IED was just stuck in my head when I think of SS SVs.
L4byr1nth
It's a WA SV Infinity 6" LTD 1911 SCW. I'm pretty sure it's not IED, but it could be. As for the grip, I like it. Custom made for me, dontcha know? And it's in the wrong thread Ben.

Romulus
I finally got a bit of time to finish swapping things around with my WA SVI project. This is the first gun that I did. It's for sale now but I wish I could keep it. Aside from the PGC metal slide this is just built up from various stock WA parts. ezgil
may i ask how you grew the huevos as well as simply how you managed to add those front cocking serrations to that les baer?
alston251
Out of interest. Where do all you guys get those grippy grip tape? I thought they were sand paper when i first saw them. I could use some on my M4 mags.

I could use some on my M4 mags. If your referring to the rough texture to the front strap on the Talon II, it is sandpaper I simply used a piece of industrial 'red type' from a belt sander at work and inset it into the front strap, keeping it in place by tucking both edges under the grips. 'ezgil' wrote: may i ask how you grew the huevos as well as simply how you managed to add those front cocking serrations to that les baer Thanks Yes it was a nerve racking experience as if it went wrong.... The cocking serrations to the Premier II were cut using a junior hack saw and a lot of patience The local engravers couldn't do it only the writing for the logo's. The Custom carry is a WE metal CQB slide which had them on all ready, I just had the 'Les Baer' logo added by a local engravers.
alston251
Very cleaver. Did you paint it silver or did it came silver?
MrManiac
The whole gun was painted first with a white primer then sliver car paint, the sandpaper took the paint OK and hasn't worn yet but the rest of the gun is getting a bit chipped here and there now as i skirmish it regularly

For pistols... http://www.ericwesselman.com/store/STI_SV.html I posted the 2011 page because thats this thread, but they have other ones...You have to cut the screw holes yourselves though... For mag I'd imagine you can use skateboard grip tape too....
Romulus
After a some parts swapping I think that I have the base of my Magna WA 6" Hybrid. I still need to clean up the outer barrel and add I few internal upgrades but I think that the look is pretty final (I also swaped in silver grip screws after I took the pictures). It took quite a while to find the parts that I wanted for this. I don't believe that WA makes a gun stock that has a non-railed 6" LDC frame and a hybrid upper. I think that non-railed 6" LDC's are the only way to go and I had my heart set on a hybrid and I love the effect. Bits: WA Magna 6" Hybrid WA OEM Parts SD? the4thpower3
It's not mine...I just built it. I just finished mounting the AimPoint CompC SM and the Dawson Precision ICE Heavyweight HardChromed Magwell. The gun isn't quite finished yet, but it's close.
Hammerfall
I'm interested in making the Infinity as seen in the series Heroes. It was used by The Company. Not sure WHY i want to make one, except from the fact they look awesome. So, anyone have any idea how i'd go about it? Cheers Jamie Pic for reference:

the4thpower3
You can get it for less than $2000.00 from ProG4. That price is Sanko's crazy Japanese mark up. The wait is long, usually 3-4 months....usually not in stock and need to be custom made.
