LuckyDevil
Actually, a clone would probably serve you better than a Classic Army. >_>
dookieboy
Aviod Classic Army like the plague. The Dboys will serve you well, but the CYMA AK74M that just came out, its the CM.40 IIRC is better.
mightyjebus
Nice man, is that rpg a resin replica? It looks like the ebaybanned one. Blot-Clot will hopefully confirm this and if he can tell me where he got it as I'm trying to get 2 spare rockets for mine i will buy him a pint
Clot
Heh It is indeed an ebay banned one, as far as I know, they been out of stock everywhere for a while now. Me and my mate had some cash before xmas, and they had 5 left... so we picked one up. Its made of resin, steel and wood. Its a real steel chinese functioning scope. The shell splits in half so you can put a moscart in it, which is fired via the trigger ( with working safety ) Not too heavy, and splits down into three main parts for storage/travel Will post some pics up of it split down sometime Its a bit keek really, but for the russian airsoft collector, its perfect and a fantastic centre piece to the armoury!! my_plague_666
WOAH You MUST explain that GL, does it function and how did you build?! the tishina is a candyman custom, fires 27mm moscarts and cost a fair penny he wont be making any more (at least not for a good while)

Hispeed1
To all- I just want to confirm. Can a replica Samson AK-47 rail fit on a metal ECHO 1 AK-47? The seller says their replica rail only fits on DBoys, VFC/Inokatsu AK-47's.

PlasticMag
Wrong AK74M. That's the older model. You want the Cyma CM040.
my_plague_666
thats the old cyma AK74M. the Dboys is superior to that. this is the new one: http://rsov.com/index.php?target=products&...product_id=3230 better much internally and slightly better externally edit: damn you plasticmag! The_Boy_Swift
GHK AKS74UN with real AKSU wood installed (the GHK/DBoys/whatever was vomit-worthy), real AKSU stock with rolled struts and Inokatsu stock latch, AKSU sling, Inokatsu muzzle booster. I need to get a real plum bakelite pistol grip and then I'll be done. It shoots pretty well from what I can see so far, I'll be using it on Sunday for a practical match so I hope it performs OK...recoil is cool
Jumprefusal
Noice! Please keep us informed on how it performs, it certainly looks awesome.

So let me get this straight. The CM040C AK-74 is better than the CM047C? What's up with the numbering on that?
PlasticMag
The numbering is random as hell - I don't bother trying to understand it.
ST19AG_WGreymon
I like the CYMA 040C because the mag compatibility is great and the mag catch is true to life. However the DBOYS RK-05 has a serial number, I love little things like that. I may end up getting the CYMA 040C but I can't find any US retailers that sell it. I really don't want to buy from an overseas dealer because I'm afraid I'll have to pay taxes and customs stuff like that.

FriendlyFire!
Ok, I know I asked about AK mags on another thread and thank you to those who helped, but I also wanted to know if the STAR AK mags were made for 7.62 or 5.45 AK's?
dookieboy
They made both models 7,62 metal-though on the star they are plastic, and they also made Bulgarian plastic 5,45.

Ok thank you, and I'm assuming the black and the wood colored mags are the Bulgarian 5,45's? Still wanting black ribbed 7,62 mags for an AK 104 though.
