Unit 318
I have a Blackwater IO plate carrier. It's good stuff, reliable and inexpensive. I have had 2! I currently have one. It's a very nice piece of kit. Splendid plate carrier.
M4A1lover
Ok you had your laughs but I thing I have figured it out. 5.11 chest rig $42.99 5.11 double mag pouch w/ bungee $19.99 (x2) 5.11 med drop pouch $19.99 OD/Black tactical shemagh $19.99 All for a grand total of $122.95! Still under my $150 budget. What do you think? All the 5.11 gear would be in FDE. Combine this with tiger stripe BDU trousers and a brown MEC fleece jacet I think it would look OK and be functional thanks A

KWP
OK thanks. I am worred if the rig wil fit as i am tall and skiny. think 5ft 10inchs 130lb A Only your chest/torso size matters. If need be it can be adjusted to fit people with size 33"-37" which would be equivalent to the US military's body armour size small. This rig has limited real estate but is very light and keeps the essentials right where you need them.

Kit list upon request. Would look better with the dust cover closed and with less or no patches. Less is more sometimes.
Renagade
Sadly, my dust cover broke recently, had to order a new one. As far as the patches, I guess your right, but it's just what I have on my rig normally.
Agent Hunk
An optic would top the M4 off nicely. My carbine. Just need some revisions to the Surefire and it'll be done.
Renagade
Yeah, I have a Aimpoint on order. As far as the patches thing, is it really too many? I was at a game with a contractor yesterday and he had just as many patches as I did, if not more.
Fatal
Because it isn't in any pictures, so if its not in a picture its not kosher. I have seen plenty of people with little patches. Overseas, but I just don't feel the need to snap a photo of everyone. Just use what you like.

comrade5
if you cover the hop-up gear up, your M4 looks pretty sweet with the dust cover down
Capt. Miller
My hastly made brit-impression in afghanistan, not much time or money put on this but rather good kit atleast in my mind
Adiventure
My hastly made brit-impression in afghanistan, not much time or money put on this but rather good kit atleast in my mind Looks like a really good kit, what vest is that?
aznsk8s87
Looks like a really good kit, what vest is that? It's just a simple Chicom rig. ooh. whoops. read that one wrong. Almost seems like some generic vest you could find at an outdoors store or even a store like the GAP. Doesn't have tacticool written all over it like a 5.11.
PlasticMag
I like your avatar more than your kit. "Lethal, that's what you are."

Yeah, I was asking since it looked surprisingly like a fishing vest or something similar.
The Crunchy Bunny
Capt. Miller that looks awesome. However impractical the ruck is, it really adds to the kit.
Capt. Miller
Thanks for the comments, the vest is something I found laying on my closet that has been there for ages, no tags or whatsoever. Ruck is Berghaus Atlas if someone is wondering.
McArthur
However impractical the ruck is, it really adds to the kit. A ruck is a ruck. How is his impractical? Because it wasn't purchased this year? Because it's not spotlessly clean? Because it's not HSLD? TCB - please think before you post. If you are thinking, at least explain your statements. Miller - nice kit You have used it on the field before? Were there any problems you encountered using such a "covert" rig? If thats the right word...
