My Masada turned up yesterday from KH Mountain. I was wondering if any other people had their flash hider lathered in yellow paint before being shipped.

I have ordered quite a few guns from OS to the UK and this is the first time I have ever seen it.

Anyone ordered the short barrel set from Monda? I can't even get them on e-mail. Or know somewhere else.

@SteffB...that looks the sex

Does anyone know which ACR PTS will be replicating?

I think there are three options.

#1: (My fav) Normal style rail with black bit surrounding the entire ejection port: http://www.gunpundit.com/wp-content/upload...mington-acr.jpg

#2: Normal style rail with black 'block' at the back of the ejection port: http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-cont...r_rifle-tfb.jpg

#3: (I will cry if they make this one) Just like #2 but with disturbingly ugly rail: http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/2273/acrguard.jpg

-Thanks

Although the Remington military website is still showing the black rubber going all the way around(#1), all the newer pictures( after the website was made) show that its the Block only(#2)

About #3 USCM said they are making the Polymer( smooth), and normal Railed hand guard, but didn't say anything about Skeletonized hand guard.

I would like to know about the skeletonized hand guard too, because although i didn't like it at first, its starting to catch on, although i still like the polymer one most. I would assume down the road they will though, if Remington Markets the ACR with that commercially, or if they win a/the contract.

By the way, here's Bushy's new marketing pic/article:

Here's another pic that popped up a couple days ago, and started making me like the hand guard more. Notice the bayonet lug :P

Wow ... I REALLY like those skeletonized handguards! Profile-wise, it's everything I liked about the Polymer handguard ... but metal. I really like the fact that it looks less SCAR like than the previous incarnation they had. Is this an actual design or a concept? Shot Show's gonna be really interesting.

I loveee those new skeleton rails! Light weight, easy to adjust alll win!!! Unless you can see the battery...that would look weird

So am I the only one that thinks they are evil?

EDIT: I love this picture: http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-cont...r_rifle-tfb.jpg I think the XTM's look great. I might have to try an AFG along with some XTM's on mine.

Ahh ###### I lost the little 'thing' under the slector switch that makes it click into place.

Anyone one what it looks like so I can commence searching for a needle in a haystack? (or even better find a suitable alternative)

Can't even begin to describe it usefully to you, but I can help none the less. Use the spring out of a clicker (Mechanical) pencil and then a very small ball-bearing and use that in it's place. Should work without a problem. I have done this fix on many M4's that people end up doing the same thing to. The selectors are the same even thought they are different guns, should work without a problem. Hope this helps.

The spring goes in first into the hole then the ball-bearing on top and you're set. Bit of a bugger to get to stay until screwed down but works great one done.
