Stealthbomber Posted June 22, 2010 Report Share Posted June 22, 2010 As some of you might have noticed, something seems to have gone wrong with the permissions that allow people access to the various forums. Seems as though Marlowe is trying to fix it right now but, as you can imagine, there are quite a few user groups and about a hundred-odd forums that each user group needs to be given access to. I guess he's giving people access to the most common forums before jumping into stuff like the site forums and sales forums etc. We would have posted a notice about this but, trouble is, until we fixed it nobody would be able to read the notice anyway. The permissions for a specific forum were changed last night, it appears there was an error during this process and permissions for all forums for members were removed. Not hugely upset about it, I'll wait the 48 hours or whatever it is to get it fixed for all users Afterall, we did survive the switch over to the new forum software...
