kenxin
With an RMR , your normal tritiums would be obscured by the red dot, methinks. However, ask them on facebook yourself, they're fairly fast in answering questions. They just updated their facebook, slides should be completed within 10 days-ish. https://www.facebook.com/notes/guns-modify/slide-progress-update-131130/510535022386868
Norotor
With my RS M&P, the suppressor height sights are barely visible to cowitness with the RMR, so i would think your standard height tritium sights wouldn't be visible.
coolurjets
I've got no interest in the RMR so that's fine. Good suggestion, I'll try on Facebook.
hitmanNo2
I've been told 2-3 weeks this morning. I doubt we'll see these this year.
JCheeseright
le disappointment.
kenxin
Well, the slides should be done in 10-ish days + a week to get the stuff to the retailers. 2-3 weeks sounds about right.

aznriptide859
I've been told 2-3 weeks this morning. I doubt we'll see these this year. If Evike's ETA's are a signal of anything, preorders in the airsoft world should never be conducted. Too bad this slide's too sexy to pass up.
hitmanNo2
Ha. Indeed. I never pre-order anything but I figured this looked pretty limited as GM is a relatively small company. Hey ho.
kenxin
should have been done in October! You're preaching to the choir buddy, I wholeheartedly agree.
Norotor
Ha. Indeed. I never pre-order anything but I figured this looked pretty limited as GM is a relatively small company. Hey ho. That's the only reason I per-ordered as well; I thought since its a small company and it was marketed as "limited", it would sell out during pre-order.
JCheeseright
https://www.facebook.com/notes/guns-modify/another-ot-weekend/513633632077007 getting closer! They're looking good :-)
hitmanNo2
So no slide weight reduction cuts? They're not going to do that after paint. If so. Their pre-order photos are pretty misleading.
JCheeseright
I think those are the Chris Costa ones, they've posted photos of bare metal ones with the weight reduction cut outs. Personally I'm happy with the lack of cutouts, they look like dirt magnets!
coolurjets
I've also found the lack of end product renders/indication a bit disappointing/misleading. I'm not hugely up for pre-ordering something I'm not entirely sure I'd be getting.
hitmanNo2
Yeah. The ones in their photos seem to be all over the place. I think I'll e-mail them to clear it up.

Norotor
Guns modify recently posted on their Facebook page that the costa fde version will ship dec 17 - 20th. I'm slightly annoyed that if I had waited on pre-ordering, I could have saved 12% off from Boomarms holiday sale deal. Oh well.
NonEx
Yeah sending out one of a kind airsoft slides during the postal services Christmas rush. No chance of loss of parcels for sure... o_O
hitmanNo2
Ah yes. Just the costa version it is. That will teach me to post at 2am.
Norotor
From their Facebook page: "STD Black will ship after Costa ver about 2-3 weeks . All pre-order customer will get ONE MORE FREE CNC BLOW BACK UNIT FOR install to 18C (320HKD). It's DROP IN N RUN . Yon don't need any guide . But we will also make a guide after this product ship ." "Costa Ver 20th Dec, it's confirm . But STD Black ver , I think yes ,at least 12th-15th Jan 2014. But I will try to make it short ."
NonEx
I understand people are frustrated from the wait, but at least Guns Modify are trying to get it done and most importatly posting continious updates of the status of the products. Better than most companies that either steal your money or don't tell you anything. At least that's how I see it from what I have read.
PureSilver
My thoughts exactly. Compare this late release with constant updates to something like the Zeta-Labs AS VAL - lots of hype, took your money, posted very infrequent updates and then disappeared- and it's not so bad. Guns Modify are at least communicating.
JCheeseright
I'm just glad they've finally released a date for this, we'll see if it slips though!
Norotor
Oh no doubt, 2 month delay is fine with me since they're explaining why it's happening, what needed to be fixed, and making up for it with an upgrade to cerakote and a g18c blowback unit for free. Longest I've waited for a pre-ordered airsoft product was 14 months for the original Escort HK416 batch. And that was quoted as a 4 week job haha, with no communication.. So yeah I agree Guns Modify is handling it really well
