Bob_Marley
no, the AK round is a 7.62mmx39mm, whereas the NATO round is 7.62mmx54mm. the difference is in cartridge size and amount of propellant used. Darkchild <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope, NATO is 7.62x51. You're thinking of the 7.62x52 rimmed Russian used in things like the Dragunov and PK. Also, the NATO round is much more pointed than the 7.62 Warsaw Pact.
darkchild130
no i'm not thinking of the Russian cartridge, i got the NATO one wrong. Thanks you for correcting me.

sniper_boi
Sorry for the thread revival, but does anyone here own a PSG-1 one they can post pics up of. Before you ask, yes it is a member of the G3 family, hence PSG-1.

RedRonin_CaptainLu
Nought much at the Mo really ^^ I'm investing in either a Mosquito Launcher, which I can put laser/torch on either side of - or getting side rails, mounting torch/laser on the sides and getting a Vert.Grip for it - but we'll see what happens...
