SWEET M14 DUDE! Eotech + Magpul combo is awesome. what's the use of that wrap around the stock? is to hold a battery, used as a cheekrest, or is it just for looks?

and yes sir! that is a Real Sword Type 97, i love it

sorry! never saw that comment...

but it is a REAL M14, and that is a cheekrest for correct stock weld when shooting

I think this is the appropiate place to ask this question.

I got the real EOTech 552.A65 yesterday and I realized today that when I look at it, there seems to be half of the reticle showing very lightly under the actual reticle. I'm assuming that this is "ghosting" and is it possible that the EOTech is broken or is this normal?

This happens when A) you are indoors, its low light, and you have it on the highest brightness setting, or B ) your glass is really dirt (like mine :)) and you get extra glare and ghosting... But normally, no it shouldn't happen. I''ve had mine for 4 months, and its never really happened except on those occasions.

Oh I see.

I forgot to mention that it was happening indoors in my room at night with the setting that it's on when it's turned on. Also it seems as though it could happen to the real thing cause on the EOTech website, they mention it but they call it the "halo" effect and they tell you things to test before you send it into repair.
