Grim
Bolters rock but there chambered like a howitzer lol plus if they were made to the right size the would be pretty damn big. we would actually them need a company to make poer armour in all its veriants lol though an autogun would seem more feesable. Personally i want the Singapore SAR-21 or isreali Tavor TAR-21 made they are some sexy *albatross* guns Grim
Fellowz
Bolters are massive just think that they are the size of a SAW but feel insignificant in the hands of a space marine. storm bolters are truly hand cannons and there is no doubt about it.come on if that was real it would blow some poor chap in half. or take out a tank. haha i wouldn't mind a Type 56 (electric) if possible, gas rifles are too dam expensive. like the kar 98 and the m1 grand. Grim
I was thinking of trying to build a body to house FAMAS guts the body would be a TAU pulsr rifle or carbine. What do you think of that then eh? a pretty easy conversion really. Grim
Fellowz
aslong as you can make the body easily shouldnt be to hard. BUT the pulse rifle is huge its almost as tall as the tau warrior. the carbine is nice but the rifle looks awsome. what about a las gun? they look quite easy to do.

raggedyman
Could you please stop talking about space marines and bolters? Thank you. back to reality.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know I can find no ruling that says all discussions have to be mil-sim or that you can't drool over impossible weapons, especially in a thread called "Dream Airsoft Guns", so I can think of no logical reason for it to be bad form to discuss the possibility of genre shooters for use in Airsoft. The Marine Pulse Rifle from Aliens is a well known kit job, we have a thread on this site about someone who made a Mobile Infantry rifle from Starship Troopers and there is a growing 'Manga Gun' scene amongst the modders so I think there is acceptable precident for talking about a WH40K AEG. Storm Bolters would just be too big, as its been said you need to be in Space Marine Power Armour for it to not look stupid, but there is enough reference material to show that a Bolt Rifle would be the right size for use in Airsoft. I'm also thinking a shuriken catapult would have a certain charm, as if you read the background material they work in a somewhat similar manner to AEG's anyway so would both look nice and be very close to the 'true' weapons. Shuriken rifle calibre (metric designation) 1/1000mm Airsoft Calibre (metric designation) 6mm. they do look cool though.
-=SHODAN=-
An SA80/L85 AEG that actually works (Sorry STAR). Not really to the topic but I wish AEGs would have fully realistic recoil but that is basically impossible...

Edar ranger rifles loo pretty dam good and the look is easy to get just a cloak and some sort of snazzy looking camo. just dont go for the pointy ears haha. anyways there are a few guns that could be duplicated from 40k and other sci fi things. like you said the Manga gun would look SICK! i got to see one. but it may be a little complicated seems its a assault rifle and a shot gun in one. But the Bar 1918 would be a great weapon for those WW2 Junkies. Seems the thompson is already out and the mp40.

rifleman
For real fantasy guns, I'd have to say either the Tau pulse carbine or the rail rifle. As far as real steel goes I'd say H&k G11 and the ASP 9mm Pistol complete with Guttersnipe sight.
donnie
That's the civilian version of the UMP (already available in airsoft). Why would you want the civilian version? Besides... build it yourself, that's the easiest custom gun idea in history! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why? - I think the HK Civilian models are the dogs nads. - The fact its civillian is not an issue for me. Im happy to collect the military and civillian models equally. Im anal - but not that anal. If you collect a number of guns and enjoy a growing collection then you`ll understand the reason - if you only buy what you really need to skirmish then the USC might seem unessary if you have thought about purchasing a UMP. Each to their own. I think I will make one however - painting a ump grey would be easy...Lets hope blending the real stock and molding it into the pistol grip while engraving the USC markings and painting the HK logo are just as easy. Not really to the topic but I wish AEGs would have fully realistic recoil but that is basically impossible... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> actually you could do it if you combined it with a gas release system, similar to the kick from a Gas Pistol. It would work for a 30ish clip before needing a top up, however a hi-cap would need you to carry a gas tank on your back and I don't think anyone would want that much realism on their spine ;-p
raggedyman
Slightly off topic but here are two Airsoft versions of the guns from Ghost In The Shell Seburo Arms C-X. Seburo Arms MN-23 5.56 mm bullpup assault rifle Oh and Fellowz: if these look daft with a generic US marine loadout then change the loadout Mil-Sim is fun but I come from a general roleplay background so the idea of a genre based airsoft event fills me with glee, if nothing else but because making those costumes is a great laugh
