AliceHKfan
I'm not a fan of the SIGArms markings or the "Frame made with Rail" as I think its supposed to be "Frame made in Germany", overall I'm bit thrown off why most airsoft guns seem to be the American versions
al3x
ill tried to post some pics of my ksc p226r with metal slide once i find a charger for my digi camera. the metal slides looks and feels ok...similar to the kwa glocks with their standard metal slide.
al3x
some pics of the ksc p226r w/ metal slide  http://s180.photobucket.com/albums/x164/al...0Metal%20Slide/  i might post a video clip of the gun in action.
Vektor
Aren't KSC glocks supposed to be better than TM glocks for performance? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>  That´s a bit dangerous thing to write on these forums nowadays, since generally there seems to be a near-religious following for TM GBBs. If you dare to write that some other made GBB is better, you could end up seriously flamed...  Nah, seriously. Great pics, al3x! I wish KSC made a two-tone version with "silver" slide soon, to make all us badboy/jackbauer fans happy. And after that, extend the P22X series into compact GBBs, such as P229R. Wege
I could get my KSC Glock 17 to be as (almost) as accurate as my 5.1. Maan. I miss that sucker.. sigh.. (was the bullet-proof version too) Â Once again though, I am waiting for someone in this country to get one of the KSC 226s in.. Edited July 23, 2007 by Wege
AliceHKfan
any one have issues with the P226's blowback chamber? it looks pretty complex and apparently one of the pins can/will become loose
syron
Nice pics, cheers. Is the outer barrel metal or plastic though? Compatible with TM?
AliceHKfan
not compatible with TM, I'd think
al3x
outer barrel is plastic, inner barrel is metal. im waiting for them to release a metal barrel *crosses fingers*. gun needs more aftermarket parts. so far the gun is great with no problems.
AliceHKfan
does anyone else think its odd that the hammer doesn't cover the firing pin detail?
AliceHKfan
finally shot the gun, shame I lost the HU bearing
Handsome Pete
My G&P M3 arrived last week. Fitted it and the torch slide back and forwrd due to the wide rail grooves. Rapped a piece of tape around the torch 'bar' to thicken it and now no movement. Will post pictures with torch soon. Â Also gave it a good field test on the weekend. Using Predator Gas. Very powerful, (leant to a friend whose aeg went bust after loading it up) and was on the recieving end of it most of the day. One encounter in a rather close woodland contact i was shot (5-7metres) in the fce. It bled slightly and I had a fat lip for most of the day (didnt mind...all part of it imho) but now i know what my opposition will feel when i use it on them. cheers. chris u'5
I am planning to make the KSC Sig P226 my next purchase but I am a bit concerned about the lack of aftermarket parts. Does anyone know if this is normal for a KSC new release? Perhaps it just takes a bit longer for them to get to market. I really prefer the KSC to the TM version but TM definitely wins in regards to parts available. Chris
hkssr20det
I think it has more to do with how many of them sell. There are few upgrades for the 1911, and I think that is because the gun never took off (probably due to the better options out there) and the P226 seems to be in the same boat. If more people buy them, then the aftermarket will pick up for it.
pokethepope
Although there is full metal (out of box) KSC 1911's now available, so its likely the same will happen for the P226 (first metal release for 1911 was just metal slide, then a little while later a full metal version was released). k.a
Thinking of buying the metal slide version, can anyone tell me, are the slide rails metal or plastic on this gun?? Thanks in advance.

0nslaught
ok im thinking of picking one of these up. does any onw know if the TM threaded barrel will fit on the KSC one. or beter yet the GP custom one on WGC, but i beleive thats the KSC versionwith the metal slide <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â tm threaded barrel will not fit on the KSC
Paintchip
what??!! are any of the tm parts compatible with ksc or the other way around? how did they do that, when its the same fargin gun.
AliceHKfan
cause its not the same, its only based of the same gun
pokethepope
The KJW and (new version) HFC are the clones of the TM, the KSC/KWA P226 is a completely different design, about the only thing that will be cross-compatable (sp) is the recoil spring.
The Gopher
Any trusty comparison with this against the TM? Â Mags holding up good? Any BB choppin', double loading, funny slide sticking, fussyness with lube, blowtorching (my name for emptying all the gas out the barrel) or any of that mess?
Handsome Pete
well mine did have a proper field day the other week. was used all day with predator (ran out of green). Levels the range of my pcs m40s1 tanaka (dunno how) and beats it in consistancy too. lol. A nice powerful comfortable 226. looks the dogs chunkies with an m3 attached. really loving the grips too. Â edit: to answer gopher: not one chopped up bb's, no gas venting from barrel. Ive got 3 mags and they are solid, no leaks (some of the best gbb mags ive owned if im honest). One thing i will say is its better without the lube. I sparyed it once with lube after id cleaned it up (cos i dropped it in muddy puddle...stupid holster). The slide just sticked and was just nasty. gave it a dry wipe and been fine since. Team mates TM shud be on route soon if UN move their arses. cheers.
