rusTORK
Here it is. Also, there is two barrels: Long one and short one. Maybe for silencer? There was silent versions of P38? I think i saw it in Medal of Honor...
blind_marksman
Almost makes me want to start a WW2 loadout. Do I spy a Walther P99 in the background of the video?

Brigg
Awesome, this is the one I've been waiting for WE to release (well that and the PMM which I now have). I wonder if its a straight clone of the maruzen, or if it will be WE's own system. I've had nothing but bad luck with the maruzen ones.
tquilha
As far as that short barrel goes, it looks like the P38-K. It was a post-war, not very sucessfull model. Here: There was also a P38 SD, also post-WW2. Here: Source here: http://www.guns.com/2014/01/17/walther-p38-godfather-modern-combat-handgun/ Here goes my budget again... BigAl
Problem with the Kurtz is you need a new slide as well, not just a short barrel.
Inspector
It looks like there are other prototype slides to the right of the p99. Anyone tell what they are? Hopefully WE continues their trend of including the extras in the box like the makarov and others. Hsve both barrels included would be nice!
FireKnife
Hmm, not a big fan of the P38 but it could be interesting to see WEs take on it. Personally I think I will wait and see on the P99. 'FireKnife'
BigAl
Those are AR Uppers in the background and once again the short barrel is n good without the slide to go with it ( K has front sight on slide not barrel ). As for a P99, yes please.
rusTORK
Prime and Shooters Design will fix all slide mistakes for 400+ dollars. %)
DarkLite
I have to say I'm more interested in the P99. But it'll be nice to have more choices for WW2 'softers, or cigar chompers or Roger Moore impersonators.
renegadecow
the short barrel is n good without the slide to go with it Maybe they plan on putting the sights on a suppressor.
Andyjp
I'd definitely be interested! My real P38 is a heck of a fun shooter; wouldn't object a hopefully-at-least-partially TM compatible WE P38 to add to my airsoft collection.
Feyd
Yay P99! Oh yeah and the 38 too, but mainly Yay P99!
Imperator
P38! Finally!Hopefully, with a better price tag than the Maruzen one.

Also, the short barrel one makes me want to say UNCLE.
paranoiddroid
Isn't that the one with the funky stock and silencer. Control Calling Agent Renegadecows your new project has arrived.
Mike_West
Isn't that the one with the funky stock and silencer. Aye, the very same one. Although I am a bit afraid to think of the results of putting a screw-in inner barrel extension like the one WE put on their Makarov.

renegadecow
Control Calling Agent Renegadecows your new project has arrived. Not any time soon as I have still yet to buy their PMM firstly. And even if I did set my sights on P38 it'd be more along the lines of this:
Gunnman
I'll just make a custom front sight and make my own K.

Brigg
It would seem that the WE version is not a straight clone of the Maruzen. A lot of it does look similar, but you get a pretty good view of the internals of both the slide and the frame in that video. After doing a bit of a rough comparison with my junked Maurzen you can see that the nozzle is quite different as is the gas bucking on the magazine. The rear internals of the frame by the valve knocker also seem to be different, which is only a good thing since the Maruzens can fail there (Like mine did).
Safeword
Talked with my grandfather about this gun, from what I understood did the short barrel one come with a silencer and was often used by the Gestapo in WW2. Would be awesome if it came with silencer.
