oldman1980
About time? I don't know. I am kind of partial to the replica that look like real guns instead of the Animation guns. Just my opinion though.
fal
Thanks for posting the link. I hadn't perused that website before. There are a few intruiging new items. This looks interesting . . . It's a model gun. About time? I don't know. I am kind of partial to the replica that look like real guns instead of the Animation guns. Just my opinion though. Huh?? Mateba is a real gun. Unless you are saying that it's not 100% accurate copy of it, in which case you are right. It's more of copy of the gun featured in animation rather than real deal. But still, Mateba is mateba. Close enough we can have now, and many of us have waited one for a long time.

AliceHKfan
sorry to say, but about bloody effing time and on the Angel Arms/Vash's revolver, good luck you'd need a kit, as its Top Break, not side loading like the Mateba Edit: I hope they do a model gun too as that the Real Mateba company is said to have gone bankrupt and usually cost 1000USD edit 2: anyone know how this is going to work since it needs to be under .98J's, but still needs gas power to cycle the "slide" to reset the hammer after the first shot? sekiryu
The website just says single-action/double-action. Cartridge type with 6 shells.

snowman
Novel... is this just a conventional (if very ugly) revolver then? Cheers.
Spencedaddy
my god...its beautiful.i never knew this existed, but i love it..i just fell in love with an inatimate object....how much are they gonna be...
Rack
Its an Autorevolver... recoil of the cartridge blows back the rear part of the frame, rotates the cylinder, and cocks the hammer for the next shot. It fires out of the lower chamber a la the trigun revolver, which is why people are getting excited about conversion prospects. Available in .357 and .44 magnum (possible a few others), and reputably very fun to shoot. Mateba is now out of business.
suicidalsnowman
I now have a reason to get registered, a revolver with recoil and snowman it's an unconventional revolver in that the top will move back to re-cock it each time so you keep firing in single action. Spencedaddy
okay, i know i'm gonna get flamed for this, but i haven't watched anime since Pokemon whats a trigun? woah woah woah, you mean that i could buy one of these in RS? this would make my collection of large bore firearms much much coolier-ier
someonetookmyname
yea, they go for about 1600-2000+ i'd love one but that's expensive for a simple pistol

Stealthbomber
of course assuming they do indeed make it that way, and it also comes in .454 Casull and usually the .357 model came with a different recoil spring to operate properly with .38 SPL's Finally, the voice of reason. Why on Earth would we immediately assume that this will automatically cock, or have recoil????? Someboy's already said it is single or double action and uses cartridges. No mention of any autococking. Which leaves you with a big daft ugly revolver in 8mm that you can't skirmish. No thanks.
r.ocelot
Which leaves you with a big daft ugly revolver in 8mm that you can't skirmish. No thanks. Their recent run of SBHs performed just fine, why won't this one?
GuzziHero
Looks good but thats about it. Now when they make cyborg assassin Fem's arm-mounted shotgun from Standalone Complex, call me back
Spencedaddy
yea, they go for about 1600-2000+ i'd love one but that's expensive for a simple pistol well.its not that much more than my D Eagle, maybe my dad will get one! and .454 Casull would be KILLER i've always wanted to see how the recoil compared to .50AE...\ any word on the price for this fine piece of airsoft worksmanship, it must have been hell trying to figure out the BB mechanism...also, would we consider this a GBB revolver? Stealthbomber
Their recent run of SBHs performed just fine, why won't this one? It might. However, given that some sites ban 8mm on sight and most will stop you using an 8mm gun at sufficient power where it'll outshoot a 6mm gun, what's the point? As I've just said in another thread, I have a Marushin Bren Ten which shoots at about 2.5J on green gas and will obviously outshoot any 1J pistol. If you reduce the power of the gun, by running it on 134a for example, then the large size of the BBs means the performance drops off to where a lower powered 6mm gun will outshoot it. If you like big daft ugly revolvers then go nuts but, unless you have a site that allows you to shoot 2.5J pistols, it's certainly not practical. Let's face it, as well, if your site DOES allow you to use a 2.5J pistol there are lots of much more sensible options.
AliceHKfan
problem with that logic is 1. Bren Ten's is a NBB and more so an enclosed mech. so the seals are better 2. I don't think the .98J law was in effect when the Bren Ten was made
