Yeh, but I think it was King Arms who was working on the thermal scope. Anyway...happy...april one !11!!!!111!!1!!

Do'h, I shoulda' known better.

Then again, I had pretty much forgotten about April Fools Day until ASR, Airsoft Canada, NL Airsoft, and AmpAir went wack.

I can't really see these on a rifle, but on a M249, not thats a whole different story. Now all I need is $$ for this and a 249...

I have three 3.4x ELCANs they are fitted on an SA80, on an M4 with tactical hand guard and one on an M249 para. The picture acquisition is miles easier than any other scope I have. Even easier than the 4x ACOG. Puts the STAR SUSAT into shame.

Therefore it's very practical for airsofting when you don't really need huge magnification. I hope this new Specter DR will up to the expectation.

Is that the 3.4x ELCAN with the rubber casing removed?

:D

No, it's a combined 4x Scope / 1x Reddot. You can switch between magnified an non magnified mode by pulling a lever on the side of the sight.

Reticle looks similar to the ACOG but with additional Reddot in the middle. If they copied it well, it could be a really nice sight for Airsoft use.

So, this was posted at 11:02PM yesterday according to my forum clock settings. I hope this isn't an april fools joke.

EDIT: Hmm... Looks like my forum clock isn't updating for DST. My hopes have been dashed.

Seconded :D

I just photoshopped the photo. Made the Brown tube into grey so it appears "prototype aluminum", and I made the earth brown into the "sheety yellow" which is EB is known for.

Man and I kinda had high hopes too.
