All I keep seeing is lovely looking 1911s with metal kits and expensive parts. So here is some workhorses for you, some used and abused 1911s, my Colt M1911A1 and my attempt at a Commercial 1911: Now to go and batter them around a bit some more. 'FireKnife'

That is because it is meant to be a competitor to the other tan colour 1911 designs so they could beat out the competition . It does look a bit ugly to my mind but then I was never a 'fan of tan' on 1911s. To be honest they could just save themselves some cash, bring all the old 1911s out of stores, touch them up a bit and then get them firing . 'FireKnife'

Ok daft question time. Tokyo Marui Glock and Hi-Capa 50rd magazines. Are they pinned or screwed together at the base? Thanks in advance

The other thing about the HiCapa ones is they don't have a standard inlet valve. Its deeper than the stock mags and actually holds on the baseplate. I had to replace one of them and tape the baseplate on. I tried for ages to find a proper replacement valve and even Mike Cripps couldn't find one.

Same, I thought you had cut the rail front away and the light was just put next to it . But damn it do I want a P226 E2. Can't wait til I can move and get a defence that shops will accept (because sites / players vouching for you and pictures that stretch the last 3 years are nothing compared to a soding piece of signed paper from a site ). Notice the 'and' bit. It is both good and bad given that it has some great music and some 80's cheese all in one. The 'In The Air Tonight' scene is just legendary. And yes RC I agree the whole Phil the Shill thing is a bit weird, could have given him a less typical role

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement pin that holds on the foregrip / handguard on a MP5k that features a sling loop for clipping a sling to? Looking at using the sling tension option to save on a stock.

I have seen some of them around but they are plastic. Perhaps such an idea might work instead.

Intently watching the updates for the new Super Smash Bros on 3DS, I never quite got why people get all hyped up about game releases until now. I really want this game in my life, like right now!!!

Super excited for this iteration aswell (Wii U version). Brawl was OK but not as good as Melee.

See I preferred Brawl but then that was due to the noise and pace that felt a lot more hectic to me than Melee which was more like a beat-em-up then as much silly fun.

That to me just looks like a TRP but with the FBI choosing it (can't remember the exact model name for the FBI one assuming it is not just TRP too). Could very easily be made as it features many of the bits that the TM MEU does, then add in a chrome / bare steel outer barrel, bushing, extended mag well and some new grips. If you want the logos and the rest then a full metal kit would be in order. It is quite an easy one to make and I am sure the parts wont be too hard to find, depends how close you want to get it and if you want it to run plastic slide for winter or metal and have it become sl

Possibly ask Mike at ESC, he might have a few parts lying around. If I need 1911 spares I usually go to him. Would help if you said what you are planning to build etc or like me do you just like to wing it and see what parts you can add. 'FireKnife'

Well to me the only thing 'wrong' is the full guide rod. Classy 1911s don't need one of those silly things . But all in all it seems that it is really the only thing that needs changing to look that way. Mine has a pair of Night Warrior grips and a MSH from it as the 'all Nickel' look to me just felt a tad off. Might add a black outer barrel but that is all I feel like changing on it. 'FireKnife'

Actually it doesn't look too bad. Given that the Nickel finishes on many guns are for showing off and little else this would make a great 'modern pimp' pistol that is more for intimidation than firing. Also miles better than putting silly tan grips on one, now that defeats the purpose of the finish and the grip in one go. 'FireKnife'

Nothing quite so funny as people who continually and consistently have disagrerements with everyone and criticism come their way, but are incapable of thinking that "oh hey.. maybe it's me that's the problem".

Even if the "just take it up with us" approach was somehow justification for actual editing of posts (to make them sound like they endorse Z1's products/services when in fact they did just the opposite), which it isn't, that appears to be exactly what loki7491 tried to do - take it up with them. Phone calls, letters, PMs; what more did they want - a summons? What a truly terrible approach to moderation.

But as usual we are discussing Zero In and its related shop, a blight on the airsoft community and one that we could all do without but is too big to bring down. So glad we have other forums ans I suppose in the same way as the rich moaning about the poor, at least it is a place for the idiots to go and troll each other
