TheKurodaVagrant
At first I saw the guns and got excited, thinking they were someone's custom project. Then I realized they looked too good to be project guns.
my_plague_666
Doesn't it say and variants in here? If it is in the wrong place could an op put it in the proper thread thanks. technically they're not, they're not kalashnikovs and IIRC they use a modified gas system. same goes for the SVD, its NOT an AK variant its just layed out the same. maybe 'AK & other eastern bloc weapons' would be a better thread title. Hoppum
Posting pictures of real steels to aid a discussion is fine, but otherwise please don't. This is an airsoft forum not a real steel one.

Magsz
thanks, its vfc wood, resized and refurnished.. How thin is it now? I was thinking about doing the same but i was worried about the integrity of the wood being compromised especially since i run a lipo in there.
RendyLatief
Its quite thick ... i measured it, and it is still about 5 mm thick.. i think its quite okay..

Jaager
Im thinking of a few project guns, one Romanian AIM and two Bulgar rifles. Heres the parts lists ive come up with so far. (internally all guns downgraded to 328fps) Romanian AIM: CYMA AKM based China wood AIM fore grips Strip wood, re-stain, paint black line on back of stock, weather again. Heavily weather the meal parts. Bulgar Arsenal AR-F 7.62 CYMA AK47S Tacticool based AK74 foregrips and pistol grip KA Bulgar stock waffel mags... Bulgar Arsenal AR-SF 7.63 CYMA AKS74U based KA AK47S body KA Bulgar Stock KA Krinkov style light weight flash hider waffel mags... The AR-SF would probably be the most unique looking, but i think the AIM might be the most practical and possibly easiest to make. Im only really want to have one non Russian gun in my collection, so which do you guys think i should do??
lovecraft25
Bulgar Arsenal AR-SF 7.62 CYMA AKS74U based KA AK47S body KA Bulgar Stock KA Krinkov style light weight flash hider waffel mags... I say : GO FOR IT !! I'm building a similar AR-SF, but not 100% accurate to the real steel. It will be build upon these parts : RMW AKMSU conversion kit Custom gearbox, 6.01 barrel, ect. Element ribbed handguard Army Code Krinkov flashhider MAG waffle mags Also, the AR-SF / SA-M7 is another one easy to build.
RT-XSTEAM
Can you people teach me how to wether my AK like yours? Thanks
waxxer
my first attempt with the good old CYMA AK-47s. nothing special, a bit overdone at some places and the body needs some paint too, but thats all for now. maybe I'll order a metal body and some real wood furniture later. RT-XSTEAM
Sorry I couldn´t edit my last post. Is weather, not wether. Thanks
