Imperator
You're a brave man sir, brave indeed. Looks pretty epic. He's brave alright! As well as sinner!
Bucko
Latest incarnations. I need a lighter weight suppressor for the CASV upper. It's much too heavy and doesn't feel right...
k30dxedle
Have you looked at one of the cheap Action suppressors like this one? I have the 250mm one, and it's very light. Surprisingly well-built, too; hard-anodized aluminum. (They are, of course, generic-looking in the extreme.) (if you do decide to go this route, be aware that they come with foam, so ask WGC to remove that for you if you fear trouble with customs)
dannyeprice23
some tidy looking pieces here......i still have not got the balls however to take a can of paint to a £2000 PTW!!!

validtumoralarm
Good god. That makes me want to throw all of my fancypants modern stuff in the trash.
Murdoc
RS Rhodesian paintjobs are similar to that... Don't know if they used foldable FNs or not...
Panoptes
The top photo is RS.
Imperator
I'm a G3 lover, more than a FAL fan, but I'm loving yours, Panoptes! Great job!
Panoptes
Well, if you 'Rhodie'-up your G3 too, it'll still be historically correct.

dannyeprice23
Wow....that's one dirty beatch.!
Imperator
Well, if you 'Rhodie'-up your G3 too, it'll still be historically correct. Indeed, but I'm keeping mine original, at leats the two I have now (don't want to mess the RS furniture kits ). Maybe getting a new one for some sub-saharan experiments... Shardik
Image snip My DEVGRU inspired 416 Maybe a little too dirty?
dannyeprice23
I wouldn't say it looked dirty, looks as though it was painted and it's wore off methinks.
CplHicks
It was painted then the paint taken off intentionally to give a beaten and well used look.
dannyeprice23
Sure does look used.! Still not got the balls to ever do it.! But also think that used look guns in conjunction with new looking gear looks daft. And most my stud is brand new now, and not taking krylon to my new threads.! CplHicks
That's the thing. I've got the 551 on there but also a spectre dr. As for lighting was considering a m600c on s&s mount which are fairly new to devgru units. As far as I'm aware devgru have been using the 416 since 2005ish or around that time. So will have spectre dr and 551 and surefire m951 and surefire m600c so I can choose between what ever setup takes my fancy. So some would be krylon'd and newer issued items won't be but might get them in fde
dannyeprice23
Christ if any of them parts are RS I wouldn't even have them in the same room as a cam of paint.! :
CplHicks
None are real steel. Although I've been offered a genuine m600c. I've got no problems painting anything. Whether it be real steel, airsoft or other.
spaghetti pool
Since my FNC is painted, figured I'd post it in here as well

uscmCorps
My buddy's KWA LM4: He went a little heavy on the upper receiver weathering in his quest to make the gun look like his RS AR15. But he generally likes it which is all that matters.
