Spacemonkey
I'd agree.. those suede vests go for a fortune .... if you can find any...
Gadge
For 500 quid you could get a good tailor to make you a replica! Obviously its not going to have any protective qualities but would be fine for airsoft.
1st Commando
Aye ,mine is not the 80's suede vest (there are new replicas of those going for £200) ,mine is the 2005 issue Arctis MOE vest made to requirement for the regiment . Nice bit of kit but I would not bother getting one if I had been forced to pay for it
Mat
Wow, I swear there was one, maybe two of those vests at the Militaria Fair this wekend gone, I believe they were less than £100 a piece, will check out the traders website. EDIT: My bad they were SBS vests.

Redtroop
Something like this? http://server14.web-mania.com/users/redtro...amp;W_01sml.jpg http://server14.web-mania.com/users/redtro...05/Img_0297.jpg 80's kit is hard to find, however we are now in direct contact with the Op Nimrod Team as we have done some PR work for their book launches! TheMerchantOfVenice
Something akin to that, RT, is what I'd like. But as I can see it's incredibly hard to get. I'm thinking I should go for a late 90s/early 2000s loadout instead. Easier on my wallet, and probably easier to do.
biguk
After reading this thread im gonna start putting a more modern SAS look together again. Had it all then sold it, a year ago. Just got hold of some SF10 Anti-Flash lenses, from ebay. Gonna get the assault suit from CRW-Airsoft. The real Nomex suits seem to have drastically gone up in price.
1st_shooter
RT, Where are the 20rnd mags? tut tut hehe.
1st Commando
actually the old steel ,waffle straight mags(30) would be most accurate but the curved style is acceptable too
hitmanNo2
Anyone know where you can get hold of the green Abseil / Rappel Harness and the Figure 8 Rescue Descender. I read somewhere they came together? Theres one of each on ebay at the moment, but is that stuff not standard issue kit? There must be a surplus place selling them somewhere. Also what sort price do they tend to go for on ebay/shops when they were available? Thanks.
