Brandon C
Being a massive Chest Rig fan myself, these are some of my commercial & issue ones from the collection, that I use for gaming & are good to go for a British Northern Ireland loadout... Arkits Arktis Arktis Arktis Copy Arktis Rig Magro Comkit Issue PLCE Rig OG PLCE Chest Rig & one of my Arktis Rigs with a late 80s kit set-up... Normally I stick to Brit Kit when it comes to Chest Rigs but I have this Russian 'Splav' made M23 Pioneer Chest Rig too... & some others too including ones which I had custom made... One of the latest ones I had custom made based on the rigs seen in use with the SBS & The Royal Marine Mountain & Arctic Warfare Cadre...
Skarclaw
That's amazing (as are the rest of your posts today!!!) I love the old school arktis chest rigs. I tried to find one of the older models in flecktarn but to no avail. Maybe one day..
gisburn20
I had one of those original Arktis DPM rigs when I was a Cadet, I still had it up until last year, I wish I hadn't sold it.

darkchild130
I've got 2 of those Arktis rigs, still use the same one I was issued in 2004 in Northern Ireland. Love it. gisburn20
Being poor makes me creative . I decided I could justify buying a mini MAV so I got a cheap surplus Osprey sideplate carrier and sewed up some straps!
TheFull9
I was about to ask if it was an ops panels then realised what it actually was before seeing you'd mentioned it. Glad someone's made one in to something that's actually good.
gisburn20
I was going to use an Ops panel, but then I found a sideplate pouch for £3.49 and realised that it would have a map pocket built in! (the Ops panel would have been a little wider but 3 times the price) I think including the webbing and buckles for the straps this cost around £10. Jim
Katotaka
Wow, that's some extreme cost-saving Yet still have seven columns of PALS....... awesome.
gisburn20
So after making my cheap chestrig, I was at Midlands Airsoft Fair today (MGC The Gaol) and I bought this for £10. Just lucky I guess nobody else wanted it, 5 minutes after getting it home I had the pouches swapped over to it. Very nice, also I found some PTS AK Midcaps (4 for £7 wow!) All in all a good day for bargins. Jim. Edited April 23, 2016 by gisburn20

Murdoc
My "fake" HSGI AO: Little Needle as usal. It has insert and a bit Higher than AO. H-harness can be removed put in a pouch, and the chest rig can be fixed on a backpack harness in seconds. Edited May 4, 2021 by Murdoc
Got Wood? TheFull9
Damn.. now I want the AVS pack just to try it with my chest rig.. *fruitcage*. How's the integration?

How's the integration? Haha sorry. Well I've not had 'hands on' with a real 1000 but I assume the clone is the same in terms of functional so based on my pack, it was very straightforward. The shoulder straps were removed and the velcro just attached to the chest rig. Then the lower two 'waist' straps clipped / velcro in. Took about 10mins to attach and then maybe 15mins to adjust to my build so it's comfy etc...
