Sgt. Kinnaird
Here is a very early production Tactical Tailor chest rig, and from what I understand these were very popular in the Ranger Reg. This is what the RACK got modeled after, or so I hear. The buckles are all dated 1997, so it was made probably in the late 90s. TT chest rig with SPEAR BALCS:

Grantfallen
Guys this is a good thread, but def needs more pictures The two things that i'm curious about are, I've seen so many pictures of them wearing the PCU jacket, is that standard, rather that wearing the ACU top. The other thing is the colour of their gear, I know that it's standard to wear RG coloured gear but are there any pictures (i've had a look but haven't found any) of them in Tan gear, for example wearing a tan coloured PACA or CIRAS? Cheers guys.
SWE_Thompa
No, the Ranger-look-alike that wear tan stuff is Special Forces groups, not Rangers. its RG for Rangers (exept older ones who had woodland on RACK and stuff)

gbiscuit
I'm curious Dolce, have you seen any of the 'Satch series in use? I only ask because it seems that HSGI has been doing run of stuff in Smoke Green and I've heard of Rangers praising HSGI quality in the past. In retrospect that could mean anything really, but I like associations...
D0LCE
I dont know what "satch series" is, i wouldn't count it out though. It just depends on what part of the country and what battalion they are in, each one has its own personality. In general though the closer you are to the big flag pole the more strict your chain of command.
Blindside
I believe GBiscuit means the HSGI Wee/Woo/Wasatch.
