G36 Picture Thread

Recommended Posts

ooober sexy me thinks i love the look of the last one but may i ask what is the stock as im very tempted by the looks? :D

Thanks, it's a Magpul PTS stock. Don't forget to buy the G36 Armalite stock adapter for it.

Wow, the CTR does look good. I'd like to see it with a UBR, one of these days. Nice gun!

I agree, it seems to me the sling slots in the CTR seem to mirror the ones in the handguard. Got UBR on pre-order already. Once I get it, I'll post it here. I believe they're supposed to be out some time this month, hopefully.

Got the B&T C-length rail today, this'll probably be the CQB config, Surefire optional:

Hey Cali, can you give us a link to where we can get that? That looks stunning, but I get the feeling it costs as much as a few bodily organs. How tough an install is it, looks fairly simple.

I don't think he is using the tape to hold them together, but to cause less problems. If his pins break, the magazine will be lost if he doesn't notice it, with tape, he has reduced any stress they might take. Its just like "550 cording" your pouches to your load bearing equipment. If the clip or whatever that holds it in place fails, there is something to keep it there.

I've been taping my mags together for a while now - the locking pins have proved to be a little too easy to damage and half my mags have broken or loose tabs on them. Generally broke if dropped while together or bashed against things in cqb while stuck together

there is only 1 broken pin i know about ;-)

i taped them cause the pins aren't strong enouth without the tabe.

there are also some cable strabs on the bottom.

thus each pin can break and the mags will stay together

its also used by german special forces ;-) therefore issued
