FireKnife
All I'm hearing are excuses... Yup, but excuses with a tiny hint of reasoning. Plus I thought, yeah why not this morning, nope Scottish Gas want money now . I would be lucky to afford an £80 pistol now, never mind a £250 shotgun haha. Habakure
Breacher is frickin' ace. I mean ace. Until I bought cheap spray paint to weather it, and said spray paint is *fruitcage* wank tasticly terrible. I mean *fruitcage* shockingly bad, so bad I cried a sole tear of complete and utter pain. But I'm not going to give up, as I love a challenge (yeap, I'm sick and twisted. I love to rectify a mistake).

FireKnife
I do love those moments. I agree there are about three or four conspiracy theories that have a grain of truth (Kennedy Assassination, death of Marilyn Monroe, mostly those geared around deaths of well known people) but that vast, vast, vast majority just don't work. The best are the 'guv'rmen' is stealing my thoughts' kind of guys or the 'aliens account for everything we don't understand' claims. Hell I even got stopped by a bloke in a pub and told that Doctor Who exists as the government can see into the future and is showing it to us in the form of 'faked' television shows so that if we enjoy them and are accepting of them then the actual future will not come as such a shock. To be honest, while I wouldn't mind that being true, it clearly isn't, at all. 'FireKnife'
Baddbaz
There are. A good few more so called conspiracy theory's that have been proven or have way too much evidence to be just conspiracys Hills borough being one of them ! Ebola is also another that has way too much coming out about it to be dismissed Unfortuantly no one trusts goverments Or big businesses to tell the truth anymore !!
Cannonfodder80
Today's fun and games was with a bloke who is anti vaccinations and was coming out with all the usual bs about how it's all just "big pharma" wanting to make money (nevermind the fact that the people pushing the alternatives usually have a shop on their websites). When this fell flat on its face he started with the "chemicals stay on the outside of my body" argument all the while with a profile pic of himself smoking a fag

sandstorm
The problem is, there's no public discredition for the frauds like Wakefield. Of course, the 'true believers' wouyld claim he was tortured to confess anyway, because Government is in cahoots with the Big Pharma. The trouble, of course, is that it's not just themselves (and usually they were vaccinated as kids) but their kids and everyone else that the anti-vaccination people endanger. :/ Not to mention stuff like CIA posing as WHO vaccination team in Pakistan to locate Osama... Should have at least finished the vaccinations, and not bolted the moment they found him, now people there are killing medical aid givers left, right and middle because they ALL work for CIA, anyway, right? Cannonfodder80
Multiple studies have shown Wakefield's fraud which led to The Lancet retracting the original article and him being struck off by the BMJ in 2010 http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Deer Unfortunately not much could be done to stop him buggering off to Texas to peddle his bull *suitcase* there

Skarclaw
Yup. Conspiracy theory isn't really a helpful word. It makes sense with JFK as there was the "lone gunman" vs "a conspiracy". Conspiracy happen all the time. I think "Conspiracy to X" is one of the most common offenses the FBI get people on. I think a better phrase is "current affairs revision" or just "alternate theory". I don't believe in that "9/11 was an inside job" thing but I think mostly the security services et al are totally out of control. It seems increasingly likely that special branch et al knew senior political figures were having "inappropriate relationships" with young boys. I have followed this for several years and it is good to see it is getting "mainstream" attention. Also bear in mind that the deputy-director of MI6 was a paedophile and alleged abuser of boys. It has been rumoured that his senior, Maurice Oldfield was also visiting the Kincora Boys Home which MI5 were using an as a honeytrap for the Orange Order. So there was a stage I think were MI5 were presented with the situation that the top 2 dudes at MI6 were at least able to be easily compromised. . Army Intelligence also knew that Joe Cahill (founder of the provo ira) was abusing little girls and used that to turn him into an asset in the early-mid 1970's.If this sounds a bit out there consider the letter from FBI to MLK urging him to commit suicide over his extra-martial relationships. During that period there was an "alleged" effort on behalf of the security services to out Harold Wilson from no10. Operation Clockwork Orange. The British Army shut down Gatwick Airport without telling the Government. They said it was a "training exercise" but it was clearly a show of force. Likewise I think the assassination of Airey Neave is very suspect. The bomb was planted on his car inside parliament's car park which is very, very secure. It's been claimed by a parliamentary researcher that he was planning to "shake up" elements of the security services which he regarded as out of control. I could ramble on about this for days but I'll stop here! Something to consider anyway.. edit: *fruitcage* it I'm back. FireKnife
Got to love working with customers. One ask me on Tuesday to solve an issue, only a small issue so it gets put back. This is a great "conspiracy theory" and definitely worth a read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roberto_Calvi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propaganda_Due http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Gladio And people look at me funny when I suggest that John Paul II might have been elected pope with full knowledge and approval of the CIA. First, he didn't ask questions about the ties between IOR and Banco Ambrosiano (which apparently got his predecessor and Calvi killed), second, he was from a communist country, making him an invaluable tool of cultural warfare (especially when you learn that CIA promoted abstract art to counter the rising popularity of the pompous ideological *suitcase* called socialist realism). Habakure
Trading in my X1 for a PS4. Got more mates on the PS4 and I like the controller more than the X1's. Bye bye X1, it was fun but I've moved on (don't worry I won't say things behind your back; you're *suitcase* with blu-Rays though). Also, not long till the webley revolver mkVI is released. Yummy.
