scorch
Being gas though, it's gonna need to be fettled with regularly. Fortunately, it's a matter of seconds to strip it down.

scorch
And for me it would be a matter of hours to rebuild! It really wouldn't. It's so simple I worry I'm doing it wrong. EDIT: Also, leftover Chinese for lunch = incredibly jealous colleagues.
Hardcore1-6
Anyone want to buy a Time Crisis 2 machine? There's a General visiting. His Chief of Staff, a Colonel, came last week and raised eyebrows. So the powers that be have decided it is not in keeping with the aesthetics of the mess. I put a laced doiley over each pistol to hide it but it wasn't enough.
hitmanNo2
Would they notice if the mess got slightly smaller one day? Hide it behind a fake wall, Inside Man style.
Hardcore1-6
I'm a top boss (self proclaimed - which means i'm an even better boss) so it's going to be moved to the junior ranks bar.Not before I dominate the high scores. I'll also be damned if I have to lift the bloody thing* so the boys are doing it.*see 'Top Boss'
Pdubyuh
Surely your just lending it, wont the lower ranks got rather distracted by an awesome arcade machine in the mess?
Pdubyuh
The hop isn't bedded in properly yet, but I tentatively reckon that once it is I could make accurate 60m shots. I'll make sure to bring it next time and let you have a go. Nice One Scott and surely thats half the reason for a GBB to take it to bits and fettle with it!
Hardcore1-6
Surely your just lending it, wont the lower ranks got rather distracted by an awesome arcade machine in the mess? Riff raff and detritus in my bloody Mess?! Not on my watch. I'll have my man load up the Webley and fetch my sword.

Hardcore1-6
Last time a YO went to the Sgt's Mess they got stripped naked, funnelled booze into their mouth while crucified and paraded around camp to be left in the junior ranks cook house.I'm not sure I want to go to that shadowy place either. darkchild130
I take it you don't have a Corporal's mess anymore, since the evil Sodexo takeover? The Corporals vs Sergeants events used to be legendary in Battalion. They're not allowed to do that stuff anymore Darkchild
Tw1tch
Just got off the phone with the guys managing "my" debt (where some *Ubar* left me 3.5k in debt) as I saw some refunds from them on my account. I've cleared it! This means a buttload more disposable income again (though I'll likely channel some of it into minor debts of mine). I can help sate my gear hunger more now though. Hardcore1-6
I just won a beer by being able to play the bagpipes first try. This makes me happy.
Mike_West
Due to the heat, I can leave work two hours earlier. And that would be, in two hours. Although if the bus turns out not to have A/C, I will be .
Gunmane
Managed to do a bit of weeding for the front garden, not truly enough but made a slight dent in it at least. Now there is a game that is truly local (less than 30 minute drive), and I suddenly got Red Army Choir music going as I try to remember my kit. If only it wasn't so hot out.... Today in my area it finally got HOT around 1030am. Now it's 100*f, once it gets past 75*f its uncomfortable.

amateurstuntman
How far did the 432 go before it broke down?
scorch
The 432 was alright. It it down last night so it got a bit slidey down the hills. No breakdowns on any of the vehicles.

Might need a torch, better take three. I like torches. And rain. Edit:- sod it. Also, I releaved pressure in my mouth today. Kind of fortunate as it happened before I left to go to the lakes.
