DeltaZero
Should be fine for CQB yeah.. I was looking at adding a bit of shrink wrap around the nub to make it more effective?? I did it but it made the nub slightly too large and wouldn't seat properly in the arm.. But I reckon that could be fixable!
bankz5152
Hmmm ill ptfe mine over the week and see what happens. Maybe fitting a maple leaf tensioner/nub may help. Did wonders in my 416 which had similar issues. on my phone, my spelling will suck
machgo
Hello all--just returning to airsoft and this forum after several years away. I've recently purchased a number of GBBs, rifles and pistols, the MP5K being one of them. The gun is essentially brand new, but it does have a problem that I have not seen/read mention of. Every now and then, sometimes several times in a row, the trigger will not reset. It feels somewhat like the dead man's click when the mag is empty, but the hammer does not get released, and the mag isn't empty. Several pulls on the trigger will get it to engage and the gun will fire normally. If this is a simple fix, i will fix it and keep it. Otherwise, I may have to exercise my warranty...any help appreciated. I almost forgot how informative and enjoyable this forum was and is. Great little gun by the way! machgo
Disregard--after a complete lock-up of the trigger, and a second inspection of the FCG, a BB fell out of the mechanism. All better now.
DeltaZero
Rocked my MP5SD at The Mill on Sunday for the last few games. Wish I had've used it all day it was awesome! Took a while to get it shooting straight as the light was poor and I couldn't see where the BBs were going but at those ranges it didn't make much of a difference. I'll be taking it to The Mall next time I get there for sure!
Alias1983
So y'all say this would be a damn fine we tech item? I don't want to buy one only to find it was trash before a mag was inserted like my tm 870.
bankz5152
Definately. Used my Sunday i was very happy, nailed targets all day long. Didnt skip a beat, i did switch out my SMG pouches which where snagging on the fire switch tab. Stuck em in M4 pouches and much better on my phone, my spelling will suck
Bando
Where are you guys getting your SD from? i can't find one at my usual UK retailers.
DeltaZero
Mine is awesome too. Love it! I was using a viper SMG drop leg pouch and I had no issues with the fire switch tab. Didn't even think about it actually! I was using the 45 rounders and had absolutely no issue at all with the cool down etc. Fantastic rifle. Bought my MP5SD from KIC BB gun. Email them, they do international shipping no problem! Cheaper too!
renegadecow
From my limited experience I can say it's a horrible gun. It's easily the most reliable GBBR by WE leaving me with little to no excuse when I fail doing my part.
hitmanNo2
You can always blame the BBs. Bad batch I think

hitmanNo2
Have you heard the adage "A bad workman blames his tools" You can't really do that if there's nothing wrong with your tools.
NonEx
The second part of his statement supports that. The first one does not. He says it's a terrible gun? It's very contradicting and conflicting and I don't understand what he means...
renegadecow
The supposition is that I'm a poor shot and I need something to blame when I miss.
hitmanNo2
It's horrible because he cannot blame it.
NonEx
Still does not make sense to me but okay

bankz5152
How do you have time to make all these videos! I barely have time to watch them!
NonEx
I have no life? Well, people were asking me to make more videos, so I do now. Now I kinda feel I do too many. I got scheduled releases until early april Also, it's due to my fairly rudimentary setup now, as opposed to my full studio lighting kit I had to setup before. Took 3 hours to prep. This takes 5 mins Oh and I have streamlined my editing process a lot too. I also like to share info and you can't have enough airsoft porn on le YouTube IMO
bankz5152
Haha well keep it up! They are good vids, much better than most the *suitcase* on youtube! on my phone, my spelling will suck
NonEx
Just got delivery from KIC today. WE Apache A2 / MP5 full stock kit. Comes with stock, spring, buffer tube thingy and mounting hardware. Took of the folding stock one, dropped parts in and it went right into place Feels like a completely different gun with the full stock on! Really nice that I now have the option to switch between the two setups! $35 USD for the stock kit!
hitmanNo2
Got to keep your nails nice and buffed for the vids huh?
