intinerious
Has any more info appear yet. Like price, releease date? They JUST finished prototyping it in early Aug; so I think there's still ways to go with this XD
CplHicks
Ah righto. Guess I was being a little too eager lol
seagullman
The real steel Geissele won't fit neither VFC, nor Tokyo Marui without extensive modification. I got the rail onto my TM, but it took hours of filing and sanding to do so. There's pics over at www.facebook.com/hestehovkompaniet My god a real steel geissele on a tm hk416... thats a nicegun right there.
MRF
I am not sure how to understand this, but here You go - today, from Dytac's FB page:https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=534499729948680&set=a.364833663581955.79483.153478261384164&type=1&theater

WTF?Shane
MRF, that is the SMR MK4. It is compatible with standard AR type upper receivers, not the HK416 style upper.
MRF
MRF, that is the SMR MK4. It is compatible with standard AR type upper receivers, not the HK416 style upper. Yeah, I know, but still another member of family on the way.
TheFull9
And Kryptek dipped stuff as well it seems. Sneaky.
NeoVeNoM
And Kryptek dipped stuff as well it seems. Sneaky. where? all i see is atacs, multi & digi camo's. Oh and also that black reaper skull camo.
TheFull9
Sorry, people were talking about the Dytac facebook and I totally forgot to add some context to that post: The implication of the text accompanying the image is hard to discern, I'm not sure if the rail is actually a Dytac prototype or RS. But then that particular type of rail cover is one that Dytac have produced a lot of in the past and they're the biggest manufacturer of camo dipped airsoft accessories, generally in modern patterns that are in high demand e.g Mandrake/Highlander. CplHicks
Closer and closer by the minute
bobsboy
so it looks like these are closer to coming out now. I have a marui 416 recoil upper. does anyone know the differences between the vfc and marui barrel nuts? Or Is anyone who has a vfc/umarex 416 aeg or gbb willing to take a photo of the barrel nut and measure dimensions so we can see if there is any chance of these fitting on a marui? (i'll do the same for comparison).
Philbucknall
Out now I believe.
bobsboy
Cheers for the images buddy. I would buy it but the shipping from the usa to uk would be a killer. Where did you buy it from? Also sorry to be a pain but could you take a photo of the end that goes over the barrel nut and measure the width of the hole so i can see if there is enough material to demel out without weakening the rail too much? Cheers in advance bud.
NonEx
Aren't DYTAC products mainly for GBBRs ? TMs is different spec than most GBBRs, right ?
bobsboy
Yea tm is a different spec. Dytac make stuff for aeg/ptw/gbb. I think most of their range is for aeg but i could be wrong.
MRF
They make some rails for both GBB/PTW and AEG standard. Perhaps in the future they will do the same here...
freon
Anyone know if this will fit on a WE?
Mr Foxhound
I heard rumors this is pretty hard to install and just ordered mine. Anyone instal one yet? Heard something about having to modify the receiver....
thatguy404
Wonder is anyone has tried fitting to the g&g yet lol
Mr Foxhound
This will not work for anything but VFC. It clearly say in the item description and package lol. I'm sure they'll eventually make one for other 416's, just the VFC is the most popular. I can at least see one being made for the TM soon.
thatguy404
Most people are not adverse to modifications though.
