Myro
how much did it cost andwhere can i get one from? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't think it's out yet. Anyone have any idea of a release date?
Eul0gy
hmm do you think this would be compatable with the guarder auto blow back unit , if so that would be SWEEET
Magsz
hmm do you think this would be compatable with the guarder auto blow back unit , if so that would be SWEEET <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I doubt it since the fake bolt would probably get in the way of the guarder mechanism. thegunrunner
Seems like if you cut off the lower tang, you can install real steel AK furniture for stamped receiver much easier than it would be to do for a TM AK. Anyways, I'm interested.
guillom
hmm do you think this would be compatable with the guarder auto blow back unit , if so that would be SWEEET <{POST_SNAPBACK}> just need to drill a hole in the front set
Donut
The stats look promising, but I was never a fan of the AK shorty series... maybe if they made a longer one.
W.K.Shuridys
The bolt racks and sounds like the real steel? Sold. Where do I pick mine up?
guillom
sorry to up the topic but i'd glad to be aware about the compatibility with marui and guarder Parts (stock, barrel, front set, ect..) thanks
Soloman
IIRC it's a copy of the guarder kit without the side folder. Thus, it should fit the parts the guarder kit fits
FW200
Since when do Guarder kits have closed magwells and bolt carriers with gas pistons etc? It's not a copy, I think G&G did it from scratch..
staticzero
So I was in AEX yesterday, and I asked about the RK. Apparently they're shipping out around 12/6 and will be available around the 15th.

FW200
Well you can also put Guarder furniture on a real Ak.. or Real furniture on a Guarder (with mods) You can also put real furniture (some modding) on a TM Ak.. so that's not a good argument..
Sale
I can guarantee that thing doesn't sound exactly like a real steel when racking the moving parts, but it should be much nicer than TM AK's. BTW. there is no bolt at all. The part with the gas piston is the bolt carrier. The magazine on the box is a modern 7,62 mag, not a '74. I got a couple of those with my Saiga, but I also use regular steel sheet magazines. Of course it would have been nice to get modern shells for the magazine, but who knows maybe Star or G&P are nice enough to produce these. Izhmash make these with solid non-folding stocks also, so it's not a completely unrealistic way to have it. Typically those are found on civilian models that lack full auto and have different markings on the iron sights. From the pictures that thing looks more neatly built than the real one. -Sale
Soloman
Without modding I was under the impression that it is compatible with the guarder stocks and handgaurd sets like this one: Which only fit the guarder kits (probably be modded though) would fit without any modding. I may just be delusional though
Lord Blackgoat
please make that they put AK103 on the shell before Xmas!!! This one looks awesome, but I always prefered long shoulder weapons...
Aod
yes, AK103 for teh winn. btw, in case some of you hadn't looked, WGCshop has these on pre-order at $325 (US) thats $25 less than an ICS M4A1. yummy yumm yumm
staticzero
Link to the RK-104 at WGC: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GG-AEG-RK104
unimatrix001
Pretty impressive, G&G did an excellent job. It's a pitty that the gun doesn't offer a folding stock and the AK scope mount plate.
Morbidus
once again, being a huge fan of all eastern weapons I must say I like the rk104... I just hope G&G fixed numerous issues their rifles had in the past( bad xp with m4 and m14 )
BakaBox
Looks amazing. But... why is it so cheap compared to the GR300?!
screamin_weasel
so is the lower reciever plastic then ? isn't that a bit crappy, considering G&G guns seem to be full metal, and they even make metal lower recivers. also the colour match between the top cover and lower reciever seems well off. staticzero
Where did you get that? WGC says it's full metal: Features: *Full Metal Construction *Steel Flash Hider *Steel Rear Sight *CNC Machined One-Piece Outer Barrel *Realistic Bolt and Gas Piston *Realistic field stripping *600Rds Hi-Capacity Magazine Specification: Build Material: Magnesium / Zinc / 6061 Aluminium / ABS Magazine Capacity: 600 rounds Overall Length: 860 Inner Barrel Length: 375mm Weight: 3200g ( not include the battery ) Muzzle Velocity: 320-340FPS ( with 0.2g BB bullet ) Battery: Large Type ( Not Included ) The reciever is likely magnesium, like their other metal AEGs. And it may be that the flash is making color match look off. Also of interest, Redwolf calims to have put ten throusand rounds through theirs without issue. screamin_weasel
haha my bad, i interpreted the bit where it says in the review "steel parts are......", and missed the bit just above. hence as i read it the reciever wasn't full metal, only the top. still, thats a bit *suitcasey* about the magazine. why put a picture of a differnet mag on the box?
staticzero
That's a preproduction sample that came with a 47 mag. It's likely that the actual production version comes with a 74 style magazine. RW and WGC both show it with a 74 style mag, which seems to indicate this. My favorite thing I've read so far: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/prod...sp?prodID=19103 All dimensions are true to the real steel I sure hope that's true...
